Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A Ram and Geese

30 degrees this morning and windy with snow showers
on and off during my walk.
Sunrise 6:41
Morning Walk Steps 11,451

Walked through town making some side trips up and down the side streets.

Continued on over to the industrial park and around in there.

Next walked up and down the road between the industrial park and DG Market
I like the gentle rolling up and down hills.

From there back through town to the pond.

I often hear this ram bleating in someones back yard but rarely see him.

Back at the pond I saw that a bunch of geese arrived and I walked
around the pond and took a picture.

Found a couple of coins to add to my banks, a penny and a quarter.

It was very windy today with on and off snow showers.

We didn't have anywhere we had to go today so
enjoyed our day around the house
doing the usual this and that.
A nice day.

Ken's arm is still sore but a. lot better than yesterday.
Won't be long before he's as good a new.🙂 ❤️

Hope you enjoyed your Thursday
and thanks for stopping by.

That's a nice lot of geese on the pond.
Pleased that Ken's arm is better than yesterday, may the soreness soon disappear.

All the best Jan

...get better soon, Ken!

Hi Karen. Alternating ice and heat might help Ken's arm. That is what the physical therapist told me to do with my back and it worked quite well. Glad you had a nice day at home. See you again soon!

I think the geese are happy that the ice has thawed!
I'm glad Ken is improving!

Maybe the geese gathered around the pond telling each other, "uh oh maybe we came back too soon." Warmer days are ahead!
I had to go back and read yesterday's post! Glad to hear Ken's arm is better!
