Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Milk Bottle Monday

25 degrees this morning and sunny when I walked in town.
Walked around the cemetery up the hill and then all around town.
It was wonderful to be walking outside in the fresh air.🥾❤️
Something not to be taken for granted!
Sunrise was 6:56 so didn't even have to walk in the dark.

Farmer Marvin has some big piles of manure to spread over the fields.
That's a smelly job.

Very quiet around town and didn't see anyone else out.

🌤    🥾    🙂

Pretty quiet around the house too.
Did the usual housework this morning.
Sheets got washed and I would have been able to hang them outside
because the temperature got up to 46 degrees this afternoon.
Only thing the deck is still covered in snow and that is where my
clothes line is.

Milk Bottle Monday
These aren't really 'milk bottles' but milk goes in them.
They are two old baby bottles.
This is the last of my milk bottles and so the last
Milk Bottle Monday

Hope everyone had a good Monday.
Thanks for stopping by.

I'm so glad you got another walk outdoors!
I grew up on a farm so I know all about spreading manure...
It made it to 45 degrees here, makes me happy!
Those are interesting bottles. I've enjoyed seeing all your milk bottles.

So pleased you were able to walk outside.
I enjoyed a walk in the sunshine this afternoon, did my best to avoid the many puddles as it had poured with rain this morning!

Have a good week.

All the best Jan

Wasn't today just beautiful? ! Our highest temperature was 50 F. It felt a little chilly when I went to the mailbox, but it was definitely better than last week's temps. :)

Those baby bottles are so unique! That's what I would call a treasure!

Oh...and I made chocolate pudding this afternoon. :) Thanks for the inspiration!

Seems like no one uses these old fashioned baby bottles anymore. I haven't seen one in years!

You seem to always have similar weather to us. It was up to 46 here today and it was just so nice for a change.
Those are some interesting bottles.

I remember being a teenage babysitter using the big Evenflo glass bottles.

I wonder if anyone makes glass baby bottles anymore.
