It was delightful walking around town this morning.
It was 40 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds.
The sky was spectacular!!
The whole sky looked like this all around me.
When I saw it I said Good Morning to you too God!!
I started out walking around both of the cemeteries.
KitKat who I haven't seen in quite a while was out and ran over
to see me and get a pet.
Picture a little blurry but he was running towards me.
Continued on over to the ball park to walk around that loop.
The chickens were out enjoying the warm weather too.
I got a picture of all eight of them.
After walking around there I just walked up and down the main road in town.
So nice to be able to walk wherever I wanted to without worrying about ice or snow.
I was really surprised not to see anyone else out this morning
with this nice weather.

Headed out right after breakfast.
First stop Lowe's and then across and up the road to Walmart.
Got the food shopping done and home again to put it all away.
I'm not crazy about the shopping part,
but I love putting everything away.
During Christmas I had blue and white lights up around the mantel.
I usually keep white lights up all year just because I like them.
The white lights burned out so I kept the blue lights up but we didn't
like them as much.
The lights in the picture look purple but they are actually blue.
The white ones came in the mail today and I took the blue ones down
and put up the white and like them much better.
While at it dusted off the mantel and changed it around a little.
A nice afternoon of knitting and reading before suppertime.
We had left over roasted vegetable and sausage that we had yesterday.

Your mantel looks so nice with the white lights sparkling. I have had a sting of little white lights in my sunroom. They've been on 24/7 for years and they haven't burnt out. I like coming down when it's still dark and seeing them there.
Did they all cross the road?

I love the white lights on the mantle! I have a little tree with lights and every night when I plug it in, it just brings me such joy :) The lights look great!
