Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Milk Bottle Monday

More winter weather so yet again a walk in the basement.

Got a good start on this weeks housework.

We drove into town to mail a card and go to the library.
Forgot it was Presidents Day so both things were closed.
Did drop the card down the slot and dropped the books and DVD
down the library drop.

Read and knitted this afternoon.
Still keeping up with the Temperature Blanket each day.

Started another puzzle.
This one is a scene of a house at the beach.

Milk Bottle Number 19.
This is the last of my half pint bottles.
Can't see the writing on it very good but it ways
Embassy
Near the bottom on one side it says
Embassy Dairy Inc.
Washington D.C.
On the other side near the bottom it says
REGERSTERED
HALF PINT LIQUID

For supper I made chicken tenders in the Air Fryer.
This is the first time I've made these and it won't be the last.

That's all for today.
Happy Monday and thanks for stopping by.

I really want to get an air fryer. When I do, I'm going to try your recipe! Glad you had a nice Monday. See you again soon!

This little bottle is pretty enough to be used as a bud vase.

Snow keeps coming down here too and it's so cold!
I like the little milk bottle.
Thanks for the recipe. I got an air fryer about a month ago and will be trying this!

This is a great time of the year to do a puzzle with the picture of a house at the beach! It would cause me to do a bit of daydreaming. :)

That's an interesting milk bottle.

We like chicken tenders, but I don't have an air fryer. I'll check out the recipe and see if I could adapt it to other means of cooking.

I forgot it was President's day today too and called the bank only to find out they were closed.
That's a cute milk bottle.

I did not forget it was President's Day. Working for a major bank I had the day off. WOOHOO for me. Back to work in the morning though. Another nice milk bottle. Janice

The bottle is cute. You really have quite the collection.
It’s Presidents Week here - the schools have the week off. I asked my teacher friends why a week and was told parents kept taking their kids out of school so they added an extra week to end of the year. Spring skiing is big here before it melts away.

It’s already Monday and I’m behind because I’m not feeling very energetic. My husband is feeling much better now so he can take care of me. 😷

It's easy to miss these holidays with closures when you are retired. I've enjoyed your milk bottles.

It was a holiday here in Canada as well except ours was called Family Day. I think we had the worst weather of the season not in January when we expected it but the first half of February!!!
Sounds like you're having rough weather now. Hopefully soon that will change.

It's on my list to get an air fryer.
I didn't know you have Presidents Day and it's a holiday! Otherwise, life is going well!
Have a nice day!

I would like to see a change in our weather pattern.
This winter seem to be making up for the last two winters when it was warm. I am going now to look at your recipe. Take care, have a wonderful day!

Love that you're sticking with the Temperature Blanket and puzzles—both are such great ways to relax. Also, I gotta try those air fryer chicken tenders. They sound too good to pass up!

resisting the urge to buy an air fryer as it would encourage me to eat things that i don't eat now. yours look tasty though, Karen.
