No ice, snow, or freezing rain when I walked, just cloudy but felt like
something was on the way.
It was 28 degrees.
I walked around the cemeteries and the ball park which are all to
the left of the main road through town.
Then walked down the main road and up the side road to the
right of town which takes me past the library.
The little pond in town is still frozen.
Progress on the garage that is being built in town.
Very quiet around town and didn't see anyone else and very
few cars also.
I found a coin this morning, a penny and the first coin this year!!!
That made me realize I never added up the coins I found during 2024.
I found 7 quarters
4 dimes
2 nickels
21 pennies
for a total of $2.46.
Not much but when added to the other years it comes to a total of $266.06
which are in these old glass banks.
🙂 ☁️ ❤️ 💰
No meeting the ladies for Needleworks at the library which was closed
anticipating the ice storm.
We took our garbage to the dump and then stopped at the DG
Market on the way back to get a few things.
When we left the store frozen snow was falling but only
lasted for about 15 minutes.
The freezing rain started late in the afternoon.
Good news is that it is supposed to warm up and I'm hoping the ice
will go away!!
I bought a couple more potholders for $1
and hung them up on the wall.
My collection is complete because there is no more room to hang them up.
Happy Saturday and thanks for stopping by.

A coin here and there adds up, nice collection.
...with more and more paying with plastic these days, finding coins may become more difficult. Take care and stay warm and well.
A penny saved is a penny earned! What a good idea to save it all up in different jars. And $266.06 isn’t anything to sneeze at.
( crazy I said that ⬆️ What an odd idiom. I’ll blame it on my parents!)
Are you saving up the coins to purchase something, or will just keep collecting them? Janice
Look at all that walking money. Have you ever thought about using it to buy a new pair of walking shoes. I'll bet you go through them pretty fast :)
I'm hoping we don't get any ice overnight. Glad you were able to get out for a walk this morning. Prayers continue for your health, my friend.
I like the latest pot holders. They look so nice all lined up.
I hope you don't get that freezing rain.
That's a big garage!
I love that you've saved your coins over the years. They do add up!
