Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Mr Snowman by the fire

Temperature this morning was minus 4 below zero.
The sun was shining which made the snow sparkle.
Yes, another inside walk.

Did housework chores this morning.

I ordered all the yarn to make the Temperature Blanket.
Instead of starting the blanket on the first of Feb, I'm going to
start it with temperatures from January first and just catch up.

I've been making weave-it squares for Februarys baby blanket.
Have 21 squares done.
Every other square will be black with other squares being
random different colors.

⛄️    ⛄️

With these very low temperatures it is nice being
in a cozy warm house.
Even Mr Snowman is keeping warm.
I'm glad he is the kind that doesn't melt.🙂

Hope you had a great Tuesday.
Thanks for stopping by.
HappyK🙂

It's really cold here, too. I walked 1/3 mile outside this morning and called it a day. I have taken the pups out for short walks since then but nothing major. We are having a heatwave tomorrow. Should be up to 20˚F if we are lucky.xo Diana

Your snow is so much colder than ours and we're freezing! lol Love your stove, looks so warm and inviting. I might have to sit a while and visit with the snowman.♥

I like your idea of starting the blanket with January 1.
We made it to 1 degree last night, then up to 9 today. Windchills tonight are supposed to be -25! And now we have a new winter storm warning through Thursday. It's pretty but I'm ready for Spring. :)

Such a cozy scene with the wood stove and Mr. Snowman in the rocker.

And I love the Lousia May Alcott quote at the end.

I would love to make a temperature blanket but I can never figure out how I want to do it. By the or temperature or by the weather. I also can not figure out how many chains to start with. Help?

I look forward to seeing the beginnings of your Temperature Blanket. It is such a cute idea. I can’t believe I had never heard of it before.

We got down into the teens last night but it was 33 here this afternoon. Still felt bitter cold all day, but not nearly as cold as where you are. I love the quote from Louisa May Alcott. I am reading Little Women for the very first time and I am loving it! See you again tomorrow!

Glad to see you had a warm fire burning on such a cold day. It was a balmy 17 degrees when Millie and I walked over the hill this morning.
