Happy Sunday
I know this is a very common and well known Christmas Hymn and we may sing it without paying attention to the beautiful words.
Silent Night
Silent night, holy night,
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and child!
Holy Infant so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace.
Silent night, holy night,
Darkness flies, all is light;
Shepherds hear the angels sing,
"Alleluia! hail the King!
Christ the Savior is born,
Christ the Savior is born."
Silent night, holy night,
Son of God, love's pure light
Radiant beams from Thy holy face,
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth,
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth.
Silent night, holy night,
Wondrous star, lend the light;
With the angels let us sing
Alleluia to our King;
Christ the Savior is born,
Christ the Savior is born.

Timeless! His baritone voice still resonates with me!
I really like this window! The colors are unusual for a stained glass window. It looks kind of like pineapples at the bottom.
I was just thinking we need to add a Bing Crosby Christmas CD to our collection. Happy Sunday before Christmas to you!
A beautiful photo AND a very meaningful hymn.
Beautiful hymn and one of my favorites.
The stained window is absolutely gorgeous. I always loved Bing Crosby's version of Silent Night, it's such a beautiful and meaningful song.
The song is just so beautiful, as is the window.
Fabulous stained glass window, lovely Christmas hymn.
All the best Jan
Beautiful window!
Have you heard from Debbie? I still pray.
...it's a favorite.
It's also my favorite!
Reminds me of my childhood - Mum was a big Bing Crosby fan.
