Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Pretty Skies

21 degrees this morning and cloudy when I was at town and walking.
Still can't walk everywhere but good enough.
It was cloudy and no wind.

Morning Walk Steps 10,717

Made my way to the library and dropped off a DVD and then walked down the main road to home a ways and back again to town.

The morning sky was spectacular this morning.
Couldn't decided which picture I liked best so here's both of them.

After getting back to town I walked around both of the cemeteries a few times.

A couple of deer were roaming around the cemetery.
Didn't see any others out walking.

☁️    🎄     ⛄️    🙂

Did a bit more housework and then we drove down to Walmart.
Picked up my new reading glasses - now I have two pairs - one for reading and one for driving - just couldn't get used to bifocals.

While at Walmart we did some food shopping too.
Most times when we are in Walmart we see people from church - today we saw two people - Dorothy and Glenda.

On the way home stopped at the library and Ken got a couple more DVD's.

Tried out my new glasses and read a while this afternoon.🙂

For supper I made Chunky Chicken Noodle Soup.
Seemed perfect for a cold winter's evening.
Supposed to get some snow and wind overnight.

Hope your Wednesday was a good one.
Thanks for stopping by.

I couldn't choose between those two photos, either. Both are wonderful. We are supposed to get snow, freezing rain tonight, too. I am glad I went to Walmart today, too.

Great quote!

Those are beautiful sun rise pictures. I hope your new glasses work. I wear progressives and have for a few years, but I don't really like them. I usually take them off to read. Your soup sounds delicious! I hope you don't get too much snow. See you again soon.

Amazing sky pictures!
I hope you'll like your new glasses..both pair. I can't get used to my new glasses. They're fine as long as I sit and read but when i walk around they make me very dizzy ( they are bifocals, but so are my old ones which I use the rest of the time. Really I don't think I needed stronger ones than what I have).

The sky is a gorgeous magenta! I think my favorite is the second one. What a sight that must have been to actually be there under the wide sky! Love the look of your recipe and I just printed it. I think I have all the ingredients to make it! Maybe Friday!

What a gorgeous sky that is. I can't decide which one I like better either.
I had soup yesterday but mine was turkey noodle.

I feel a bit jealous of you, with your snow and beautiful sky. Here, it's pouring. It's been raining for hours and the wind is howling around our house. Not so nice. But still cozy when you are inside.

Beautiful skies and I cut my walk short this morning. A bit too cold, so I rode my indoor bike. Not the same, I think. Chicken noodle soup here too.
