Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Friday

21 degrees this morning when I walked around town.
It was cloudy with a few snow flurries fluttering around.
Better a few flurries than a misty rain.
One nice thing, there was no wind!

Had my usual walk around town up and down some side streets, around the ball park, and both of the cemeteries.

No one else out walking again.

Pretty quiet around town.

☁️    🎄    🌨    🙂

I got all my Christmas decorations out and up this morning.
Tree is up and decorated, Nativity set out, added red lights to the mantel (have white lights up around it all year), and set up my little village.
Even put the outside lights out around the railing on the porch.

The counted cross stitch ornament is now done and it came out okay so I will be taking it to Blankets for Babies next week for the ornament exchange.
You can see it HERE.

Yesterday I finished the last weave-it square for this months baby blanket and started sewing it together this afternoon.

Now I'm knitting a pair of light purple slippers for Liz.

Will get a little reading done this evening.
Hope your Friday was a good one.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

You have been busy! Loved the ornament...I think that was such a smart idea to use them the way you did. Can't wait to see the new baby blanket.

I like the way the fence curves with the road.

The angels are beautiful!!!! I don't mind the cold too much as long as there is no wind.

Sounds like you have been busy, my friend! One of these days, I am going to go for a walk. If you lived nearer, you could push me out the door.

That's a pretty shot of the fence and curving road.
I really like your ornament!

You got your tree up and the decorations too, all in one morning. You are very efficient.

You've gotten a lot accomplished. I like your angle ornament. The angle of the picture makes the black house look like it has a steeple on it.
