Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

The next puzzle

It rained yesterday and then turned cold and is snowing today.
Thought maybe there would be icy spots around town so decided to skip my around town walk and get my steps inside.
There was a time I would go anyway but just don't want to take the chance of falling and not be ABLE to walk for a while.

Got the next jigsaw puzzle out to start.
This is another new one this year.

Did a little house work but just the stuff that needs doing every day.
Then I puttered about enjoying my day at home.

Read
Knitted
Cross stitched
Now I have 4 different projects I'm working on.
Nice to have a variety of things to chose what I feel like doing.

Our weather is just like last week with the snow and I'm sure I won't be walking outside tomorrow either.
But that's okay, I have plenty of good outside walking days too.

That's all I have for today.
Hope your Friday was a happy one.

The puzzle is GORGEOUS, but looks so hard!! And 1,000 pieces!

Seriously, when you finish this one you need to coat it with glue and hang it up.

I really like that puzzle!
We have been inside all day here. It started snowing last evening and hasn't stopped. There's been lots of accidents because of icy roads.

I have not seen that puzzle...I wonder if it will be hard. Sometimes I think one will be and it will end up easy and others I think that look easy will be hard. Dark, dark colors are what slow me down.

What a pretty puzzle that is. Staying in and working on puzzles and projects is always a nice way to spend the day.
We've got snow here. A LOT of snow. Couldn't even push the back door open this morning to let Gibbs out.

Snow? I find it all hard to relate too as it does not snow here and I've never been in snow- hope you are well Karen. Best Wishes.

That puzzle would be so much fun to do!!! I especially like that it has larger pieces. Easier to pick up.
