I got to town at 6:30 just as the street lights were turning off and sunrise was soon after at 6:49.
There was a mix of sun and clouds and the temperature was 40 degrees with a bit of a breeze.
So nice walking in daylight, at least for a while anyway.
Walked around both cemeteries first and then the ball park loop.
Went back to the car and picked up a DVD and walked that to the library and dropped in down the slot.
Then continued walking up and down all the streets in town.
RuthAnn was out walking her dogs as well as John and Prim.
A few more people I see in cars every day driving by started waving to me this morning.
Dwayne stopped in his truck and asked me if I had walked up around the corn field behind his house yet.
You may remember I tried walking there but wasn't sure exactly where to go.
I told Dwyane that and he explained it better this time and told him I'd give it a try again.
Told me not to go today though because there was someone hunting up that way.

🥾 🦃 ⛅️ 🙂
Did chores around the house today.
My appointment at Walmart to get my eyes checked out was at 5:00 today.
I've never had to wear glasses except as I got older for reading and then I just got those cheap readers that you can buy anywhere.
I've noticed that distance is not quite as sharp as it once was hence the reason for the eye exam.
Was told my eyes were really pretty good for my age.
I'm getting reading glasses and am slightly farsighted so getting a pair of bifocals.
Picked out a pair of frames and will get a text when they are ready for me to pick up.
Just had sandwiches when we got home because it was late and didn't feel like cooking anything.
Milk Bottle Number 3
I put milk in it which makes the lettering on it easy to read.
It holds a quart and the lettering is the same on both sides.
I like the name Happy Hills and that is probably why I got this one.
Have had it many years.
Frostburg, MD is not far down the road from where we live
and pass through it on our way to LaVale.
That's it for this Monday.
Hope yours was a happy one and thanks for stopping by.
HappyK🙂
Think what a better world it would be if we all,
the whole world,
had cookies and milk about three o'clock every afternoon
and the lay down on our own blankets for a nap.

...Happy Hill Farms is a great name!
What a lovely quote at the end. count me IN! And a pretty milk bottle. But for me, the star of the post is the gorgeous sunrise reflected in the pond.
Hi Karen. I've been wearing glasses since I was six. I'm legally blind in my left eye. Glad to hear that your eyes are healthy. I think your milk bottle collection is pretty cool. Hope you have a good week.
I like the lettering on the milk bottle. Your pictures for the day are really nice...love the way the pond mirrors the sky...and love those clouds in the second one.
I love the look of the sky in the first 2 pictures.
The old milk bottle looks perfect filled with milk the way it used to be.
When I woke up this morning and it was daylight, I thought about how you would get to walk in daylight this morning.
Your milk bottle is really neat. Thank you for sharing.
Well that milk bottle is perfect for you.
I had bifocals and hated them. I just could not get used to wearing them. I went to a different eye doctor the next time I needed glasses and he told me if I could get away with wearing cheap readers to go with that instead of paying the extra for bifocals so that's what I've done for years.
Hello,
Beautiful photos, love the reflection on the pond and the pretty sky. I love the quote, but I am not a milk drinker. Take care, enjoy your day!
We crinkle up paper when displaying our milk bottles for sale at our store. It is easier for customers to read them. Love the name of this one. Janice
That milk bottle seems perfect for Happy K.
Great news that you have good eyesight for your age. Eyesight has become so important to me this year.
Love that first picture! I'm so glad it's lighter earlier in the morning now even if I feel like it's bedtime at 6:00 at night!
When we lived in a farmhouse, I put salt in my milk bottles to display so they could be read. Love your pictures! Blessings . . .
I'm the opposite. I can see up close, but distance is where I need my eyeglasses. I take my glasses off to do any closeup work, and then I always forget that they are lying on my lap or chest.
What a great name for a farm! And i love your sunrise shot!
We had those kind of bottles too. Looks great with the milk in it.
I like that milk bottle especially with the milk in it! :)
Yes, I too like the milk bottle, it looks good with the milk in it.
All the best Jan
