Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Chilly start

A chilly morning with a light frost in the shade in a few places.
Walking in town at 6:25 and 38 degrees.
A bit foggy at first and then sunny.
Sunrise 7:21

Morning Walk Steps 13,297

A very random walk all over town including both cemeteries and the ball park loop.

Saw Rebecca twice, once with Leo and then by herself.

Didn't see the chickens around.
They must have been inside their coop where it was warm.

The bulls are back in the pasture in front of the Drane house again.

A couple of rabbits were chasing each other around at the cemetery.

🌫     ☀️     🥾     🍁

We only needed a few things from the store so we went to Grantsville to Casselmans Market this week.

I wanted to go outside this afternoon but really needed to get the bathroom cleaned.

Did some knitting this afternoon.  Making a bedspread.

Supper tonight was roast beef and gravy, mashed potatoes, and Brussel sprouts.

Happy Tuesday and thanks for stopping by.

...I love the silhouettes of the birdhouses. We had to turn on the heat today, seems a bit early!

That is such a nice fall display. Dinner sounds wonderful...and Copper would love the brussel sprouts...cooked or raw.

It was cool here this morning too, but you had us beat!
We had our pastor and wife for supper; we also had roast and mashed potatoes, but had carrots with it.

Your dinner sounds delicious! I love roast beef. Bathroom cleaning isn't fun, but it has to be done. I hope you have a good day tomorrow! See you then.

I like the bench with its decorations. I also like the rather spooky Black & White picture. Two very different 'looks' but both very
Fall-ish.

Thanks Karen for the peep link. I will use worsted weight yarn instead of chenille. There is also a YouTube link to the pattern which is also helpful! Looks like some peeps on my crochet hook in the future. Thanks again♥
