Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A ride to Bedford

A frosty morning walk, 34 degrees, but no wind and sunny once it came over the mountain.
I don't see much of the sun on these dark mornings.

Some more geese came to the pond.

Walked through town to the DG Market where I turned around in the parking lot
and then went around the ball park loop a couple of times, back through town and then around both of the cemeteries.
Lastly went down the road toward home, turned around and walked back to town.

No one else out walking that I saw.

Morning Walk Steps 11,531
A few steps short on this walk because I had to get home so we could leave.

A Happy Ghost

☀️    🎃    🍁

We took the church trailer loaded up with the Romans books to Bedford, PA this morning and got another pallet loaded into the trailer.
Nice to have the three men there help unload and reload the trailer!! 🙂

It was a nice ride there and back.
A sunny day and we saw some beautiful Fall colored leaves along the way.

Stopped like we usually do at Wendy's and had our Spicy Chicken sandwich for lunch.

Sometimes we just come back home with the new load and bring it to church another time but today we dropped off the trailer at church before coming home.

Nice to get back home and read a bit this afternoon.

Happy Friday and thanks for stopping by.

That pink in the sky pictures is beautiful...so calming. Glad you had a safe trip to Bedford and back...and that you had help unloading and loading the books of Romans. I'm sure the foliage was beautiful on your drive. We have noticed such a pop of color in the trees around us just this week!

The reflection of the red trees in the pond is beautiful. Now I am wondering just how spicy that sandwich is!

Beautiful autumn pics as usual. We tried those Chicken Big Macs for lunch yesterday for lunch from McDonalds. I actually liked it. Janice

It sure is beautiful in your part of the country right now. I like the quote about cheerfulness. It's been hard lately with all the disasters. Hugs, Diane
