A Collection of Water Tanks
60 degrees again this morning when I walked.
Cloudy and windy.

Morning Walk Steps 13,092
Walked through town and up and down side streets as I made my way to the DG Market where I turned around and continued on over to the ball park loop which I walked around a couple of times,
Lastly around both of the cemeteries a couple of times each.
A BIG dump truck with a load of gravel in it stopped by me and the driver asked me for directions.
It was for the people who just put up the pole barn.
Rebecca was out walking with Leo.
Another nice walk. I've been walking so long I can't imagine not starting my day off with a walk.
☁️ 🍂 🍁 ☁️
We left after breakfast and went to church to drop off the Snickerdoodle Cookies I baked for the teens rally that is tomorrow and Saturday.
Then it was to Walmart for food shopping where we spent a small fortune.
Nice to get home and put everything away in the pantry.
Got home just in time for lunch.
If we have to go out we like to go in the morning and then have the afternoon at home.
Did the usual work on the cross stitch and read some too.
Supper tonight was fried onions and peppers with some browned ground sausage in burrito shells.
Happy Thursday
Thanks for stopping by.

...those water tanks are popular to catch rainwater.
I like to do my errands of the morning, too. Till I can be home in the afternoon. And it works out better with Copper, too. That is a beautiful leaf...
I’ve never seen water tanks that look like that. Walmart is too expensive. Love that little leaf 🍁
Lots of leaves falling by you! That little leaf is so pretty.
Do you know what the water tanks are for? Or just being dumped there. We had a pork roast tonight for super with mashed potatoes and carrots. Janice
Starting to see a lot of fall leaves on the ground. Do you like to walk on them and crunch them? The leaf you chose to show looks like it has a bit of the sun inside.
You see water tanks like that out on native American reservations a lot because many people who live on the reservations have no running water. People don't realize that so many native Americans on reservations have no electricity or running water - even in 2024. I hope you have a good Friday.
We shopped at Walmart this morning just like you did. I wanted to pick up a few specials at other nearby grocery stores so by the time we got home I was too tired to walk. And it was raining.
Why are the water tanks in cages? One has escaped.
God bless.
That's a lot of water tanks. I also like to do things in the morning if I'm planning on going anywhere. Your supper sounds pretty tasty
I like to take my walks and do chores in the morning.
We are seeing leaves on the ground and our driveway is covered.
Your dinner sounds delicious. Take care, have a great day and happy weekend!
I also take a morning walk and enjoy it very much. That is a sad fact regarding the Native American living conditions in 2024. Landscaping companies use the water tanks for mixing lawn fertilizer in my area.
I don't think we have any water tanks like that around here. We only have the big ones that hold water coming in from Lake Michigan. Time for me to get my morning walk with Scruffy in soon. xo Diana
Your day sounds lovely! And I understand about food shopping at that Walmart and spending a small fortune! We will run in there occasionally to pick up an item or two when we are in that area, but not a grocery order because their prices seem high.
We see those type of water containers here in community gardens.
That is a lot of water tanks!
All the best Jan
I see those water tanks out in desert areas that don't have access to "city water". They have to haul their own water for all their needs, which would be a difficult way to live.
I haven't seen water tanks like those before. It is always nice to get things all done and then have the freedom to relax. Happy Autumn to you!
