Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Pink Peep Monday

When I got to town and started walking it was 52 degrees.
Not long after the sun came over the mountain and I had a sunny walk.
It was 57 at the end of my walk.

On my way to town I saw deer, rabbits and a groundhog, all
within a block of my house.

Walked around both cemeteries first and then over to the
ball park loop.

Back to the pond and then down the main street toward home
and back again.
Walked straight through town and over to the DG Market,
back through town again and that ended my walk.

Shiela was out running
and John walking Prim.

Nothing going on around town, very quiet.
It was perfect walking weather!

Did 2 loads of laundry and this time the washing machine
worked perfectly!!

Baked a couple loaves of English Muffins this morning.

Some housework got done,
a little reading and
worked some stitches on the cross stitch.

Pink Peep went to visit the windmill this week.

Happy Monday

Oh my goodness, I have never seen a windmill like this! It is beautiful and spectacular. Is there a story behind it? Where did you get it?

We had a chilly start to the day here but it warmed up in the afternoon quite a bit.
Pink Peep picked a good spot to hang out.

Ah 57! We're still in the 60s during the night and 80s during the day. I'm looking forward to fall when I'll stop complaining about the temps! LOL. Pink Peep is adorable!

Pink peep sure does get around. That is a really cool windmill.
English muffin bread sounds delicious. If I have all of the ingredients, I think I'll make some today.
