Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Friday

55 degrees when I started walking this morning
and 62 when I was done.
It was sunny and pretty calm.

Saw 4 deer on my way to town a block away from home.
In town I was walking up to the cemetery when two deer,
a doe and a fawn popped up out of one corn field, crossed the street
and ran into another corn field.
All happened so fast never got a chance to take a picture.

Walked all over town, both the cemeteries, the ball park loop,
and down the road towards home a ways and then back to town.

Sheila was out running and I saw her 3 different times.
Two other men running - the one I saw yesterday
and another new one.

Looks like something else is going to be built here by the cemetery.
Will have to see.

☀️    ☀️

Did a load of laundry and finished up the weekly housework.

Was outside a while pulling up weeds out of the gravel.

More counted cross stitch got done and also
sat on the porch and read.
It got up to 72 degrees today and was sunny.

Happy Friday
Thanks for stopping by

A few of you mentioned putting a card on the blankets for the babies with the name of our church.  That is what we CANNOT do anymore.  Nothing can be on the card saying it came from a church.

...for a small community, there seems to be a lot of construction going on.

That's a beautiful sky to start your walk.
Looks like you have something new to watch being built.

You got a lot done today! Well, it is a sad day when a church cannot give a gift to someone and sign their name!! Kind of reverse prejudice!

A beautiful start to the day. Today is laundry day here but first I have to go to work for a couple hours.

Regarding your previous post (blankets). Yes, Christianity is being pushed back over here also.

God bless.

Nice photos, and also good that there were more runners. Healthy to go outside and run or walk.
