Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Reflection

 Sunrise 5:50
Warm and sunny this morning for walking.
62 degrees with a slight breeze.
Once again I saw deer and rabbits on my way to town.
On the way home I saw a groundhog.
Was at town and walking at 6:20.

The pond was smooth like glass which made for this pretty reflection.

Walked up and down the main road in town and then around both
of the cemeteries.
This is another pond down by the Drane house.

Here's me in the mirror up at the cemetery.

Next I walked over to the ball park and around there, back to the pond
and once again through town along the main road.
Walked up behind my old house and then back to the Jeep.

Saw quite a few people out walking today.
A man I see every so often but don't know him.
The man who runs laps around the ball park.
Rebecca was out walking Leo and then I saw her again walking alone.
John was walking Prim and I saw him two times in different places.
Joy was walking and saw her twice too.
Then there was Ruth Ann who walks her two dogs around the block.
Elaine was out in front of her house watering her potted plants.

Nice to see so many people out enjoying the early morning.
I find that early people seem happy and always have a friendly word to say.

☀️    ☀️

This morning I had a couple slices of the English muffin loaves
I made yesterday.
A little butter and raspberry jam and it was delicious.

Took advantage of the nice sunny morning and got a load of clothes
washed and hung out on the line.

Then we went food shopping at Casselman's.

After lunch we went to the Shop and Save to get a few other things
we didn't get at Casselmam's.

While we were out stopped at the library to return a book and picked
up another one that was on hold.
One more stop and C & W Lumber here in town and then home.

Clouded up late afternoon and we got a little rain.

Didn't have to cook today.
Had some chili in the freezer!

That's all for today.
A happy Tuesday and thanks for stopping by.

Billie Jo - I also put a little vanilla in the French toast.  We eat it often and is one of our favorite breakfasts.

What does Ken do while you are out walking in the morning?
As a morning person, I agree. We sleep with our shade partially up, so the morning sunrise naturally wakes us up. Oh and those doggy kisses, too!

That first picture is a great one. The reflection is wonderful.
We saw the tiniest bunny when we went walking. So cute. I don't think I've ever seen a groundhog but maybe we call them something else. I know we have Marmots.

I just googled it and it seems that Marmots and Groundhogs are not the same. Both are in the rodent family so I guess they're like cousins.
