Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Pink Peep

It rained overnight but was just cloudy this morning when
I got to town for my walk.
It was 63 degrees with some wind.
This is the only blue sky I saw while walking and it only lasted for a minute.

Started out walking around both of the cemeteries.
Some of the gravestones were getting covered by the shrubs
so the shrubs got a bit of a haircut.
Hopefully they won't look so ugly when some green grows back.

Next I walked over to the ball park and around there.

These chickens are always getting into something.
These checking out the lawn mower.

Four others escaped the yard and were walking around the ball park.

I also walked up and down the main street in town and all the side streets.
It looked and felt like rain but never did.

I saw John out walking Prim
and Rebecca walking Leo.

Out back of the church a group of people were gathering to get
ready to leave on a mission trip.

Surprisingly didn't see any animals except for cows this morning.

It was pretty cool out this afternoon with plenty of sunshine
and a cool breeze.

Not much got done around the house.
I spent some time working on my cross stitch.

When I was sitting on the porch I saw a mama deer and
her twins walk down the driveway and into the woods out front.
Didn't have my camera so didn't get a picture.
The twins were very small, must have been born in the last couple of days.

After the deer were gone I went and got my phone just in case
they came by again.

They didn't but I took picture of the sky.

The Pink Peep has been wandering around again and ended up
here this week.

That's going to be it for today.
Happy Monday and thanks for stopping by.

John - The Theme I use on my blog is Awesome Inc Light. Then in custom I played around with colors and fonts and layout till I got something I liked.  I've used this one for quite a while though sometimes I do change colors around.  I've also made the margins wider so I could post extra large photos and have put all the extra gadgets and things down at the bottom of my blog.

I think you are referring to the PAGES under the header picture when you say you click on them to open.  They are made by clicking on PAGES which is in the same place where you find POST, THEME, LAYOUT and all the rest.

The Header I took a collage I made on my phone and in PREVIEW on my computer  added the text.

Hope this answers your questions.

What a beautiful day we had today! I enjoyed sitting out on the porch reading this afternoon for the first time since we returned from Maine! Loved the temperatures and breezes.

Karen, the second picture of the sky and clouds is just amazing! It would have been a good day to be up in a plane in the midst of those clouds looking down!

I would love to hear more about the missions. Good luck to them. My brother went on two missions to China. It was dangerous work.

The chickens look like they are having a discussion over who is going to do the mowing. :)

The chickens made me laugh. I have salt & pepper shakers that look just like them.
The pink peep sure gets around.

I can see that those bushes would completely cover the headstones. Do you know where the church people are going on their mission trip? It was interesting to read (in your answers) about how you have designed your blog. I may check out that site you use. It's always fun to see where your pink peep ends up. I hope you have a good Tuesday. See you again tomorrow.
