Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Sunday

 Happy Sunday

Bible verse that our church memorized this month.
An easy one this time.

πŸ“– Matthew 4:4 πŸ“–

But he answered and said, It is written,
Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that prceedeth out of the mouth of God.

A Blessed Sunday to all.

Ann - The Polish pottery I bought yesterday was handmade in Poland.  The shop I went to just sells it.
Check out this LINK to learn more about it.

...Karen, thanks for the link to Polska Polish Pottery & Gifts. I'm surprised that they aren't in Buffalo, NY, it has a huge Polish community.

OH, the SKY!!! It is almost like what we call a buttermilk sky, but it is different from that. Almost like ribbons.

Coneflowers are so pretty. And you have a pretty sky today too!

Beautiful photos, Cone flowers are one of my favorite plants, I have always wanted to learn how to use them medicinally.

Memorizing scripture verses is so rewarding, I started a few years back, it has done wonders for me in my spiritual growth.

It has been a while since I have visited Blogland, hope all is well with you, you are always motivating me to get moving.
Thank you for sharing.
Blessings,
Sue

I think it is so cool that your entire congregation all works on memorizing the same scripture each month. That scripture is an important one. I hope you have a good week!

Beautiful sunrise to welcome the new day.

Those coneflowers are so pretty.
I should have guessed that the Polish pottery wasn't made here. I was thinking about a pottery place not far from here that makes and sells their pottery. I guess I was thinking that Polish was more a style rather than where it was made.

Hi Karen, I think you are using a new blogspot “theme” and I wonder if you could tell me which one it is? I really like it and might use it for my own posts. What I like about it is the way your header appears to be separate from the individual posts and the posts themselves are easily opened up by clicking on them below. Very nice. Your new (to me) header is especially nice with the way you blended in the text. Beautiful photos here in your Sunday post. It makes me happy to see that you are back blogging. Have a great day, John
