66 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds when I walked this morning.
Cooler walking today because of the clouds.
70 degrees when my walk ended.
Walked around both cemeteries to start and then over to the post
office to mail a card.
Next dropped a book off at the library.
Continued walking to the ball park, around there, and then
back through town and up Sale Barn Rd.
Turned around and back to the Jeep.
Farmer Marvin wrapped the bales from yesterday and added them
to the others.
By the time he's done there will be a few of these long lines.
I saw the house that was sold across from the pond has had the
back porch ripped off.
Maybe an addition is going to be added.
Will be interesting watching what they do with it.
Shiela was out running.
A man was out walking too.
He must have been very warm because he was wearing sweatpants
and a hooded sweatshirt with the hood UP!!
I stopped to watch the geese family again.
They must be getting used to me because now they don't run away.
Morning Walk Steps

Yesterday I hit the 3,000,000 step mark for this year so far.
THIS IS FOR ALL DAY STEPS NOT JUST FOR MORNING WALK STEPS.

House work today was washing the living room windows.
Got an email telling me that the book club selection for July is,
Never Give Up: A Prairie Family's Story by Tom Brokaw.
Requested it at the library and I'm number 3 in line for it.
It's a short book so it shouldn't be a problem.
More work on the counted cross stitch and I can finally
see a little progress.
Supper this evening was fried shrimp in the air fryer
and baked potatoes.
Don't have anything else for today.

Debby - There are a couple of farmers here too that use the old rectangular bales of hay, but most have the round ones. The round ones are a lot bigger.
Farmer Marvin doesn't buy them. He grows the hay, cuts it, bales it, wraps it and feeds his cattle over the winter with it.

Had a baked potato for lunch yesterday and it was so good. Is that the same Tom Brokaw that's a newscaster? If so, I didn't know he was a writer also. When Mr D and I are out and about and see something new being built or something old being remodeled and updated, we will be sure to ride past often and keep up with the progress!

Thanks for the link. I like the grey color scheme but not too crazy with the layout of the house. It looks like the front door enters into living room and then the kitchen is right there. No dining area. But I like the colors -

Hi Karen! That book by Tom Brokaw sounds good. I think I will see if our library has it! Hahaha you are like me - I look up homes for sale in the neighborhood on Zillow too! That house seems very open and nice, but only has a one-car garage. I find that a little odd because most people have at least two cars. Is the price about average for your area, or is that high for a house of that size? I have been in and out of town and have missed a couple of posts, but back home now catching up. I hope you enjoy the rest of the week!
That is a lot of steps...how many steps do you count as a mile? Anyway, that is sure an accomplishment. I will be curious to see what they do after tearing off that porch...I so love that first phot.

Your town looks amazing! Just the right mix of nature and homes. I think these pretty flowers may be Sweetpeas. The book sounds good; I always liked Tom Brokaw. Your first photo with the yellow field is gorgeous! Wow, you are one determined walker!!!
Well done with the walking, I don't count my steps but I doubt they're anywhere near that :) The sweetpeas are a beautiful colour.

Your town is pretty. I checked the link. Houses are so expensive now! That wouldn't be my choice of layout, but it looks nice inside. I'm sure it will be bought soon.
