Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

2 new bowls

65 degrees and sunny when I got to town for my walk.
Went around both of the cemeteries first.
Walked around the long barn.
Not that many cows in the barn.
The cows that are in the barn now are the ones Farmer Marvin
wants to keep an eye on for various reasons.

Continued walking over to the ball park and walked around there,
then just all around town up and down the side streets.

Rebecca was out walking and I saw her three different times!
John was out too.
Carmen was sitting on her porch reading and stopped to say hi to her.

Thought these petunias were pretty.
Have never seen any this color.

☀️    ☀️

I skipped going to the stitching group at the library this week.
When I got back from walking we had a quick breakfast and then left
to go to an auction in WV about 40 minutes away.
Looking around at the stuff we didn't see anything at all that we wanted.
Looked like a bunch of junk so we didn't stay.
Didn't want to go home right away so we went for a little
ride enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Back near home we stopped at a Polish Pottery shop.
I had noticed the sign for the first time a few weeks ago and I've
been wanting to stop in every since.
I have about a dozen pieces that I bought 15 - 20 years ago.
Prices have sure gone up!!!
I love all the patterns and all my pieces are different.
Ended up buying to small bowls.
We thought they would be perfect for ice cream.

That's all for today.
Happy Saturday and thanks for stopping by.

Hi Karen! Sounds like a nice day, even though the auction didn't have anything you wanted. I love the blue bowls. I hope you are enjoying the weekend. See you again soon!

The only thing that could make those little bowls any prettier than they already are is of course to be filled with ice cream.

I like the bowls. They would be hard to pass up. I have always liked the polish ceramics. My absolute favorite is Armenian pottery!

Those new bowls are very pretty. I wouldn't have been able to resist them either.
In Spring I bought 2 packs of Petunias with 6 plants in each. Turns out a couple of them are just like the ones you saw today. I'm glad I got them.

The bowls are beautiful! I would be afraid to eat anything out of them for fear of breaking them! The Petunias are gorgeous, I have never seen any like them!! Maybe they are a new variety.

Those bowls are absolutely beautiful. Do they make them there or just sell them.
