Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Measuring Spoons

I was at town and walking at 6:35.
It was a calm, cloudy morning and 37 degrees.
Sunrise 7:13

Walked through town and up and down a few side streets on my
way to the DG Market.
Was going to turn around there but since I was right by the
industrial park walked around there too.
Then back to town around the ball park, a couple more side streets,
up to the cemetery and around there.
Took a side trip over to see the cows.

I call this one Curly.

I ran into Kathy walking around the cemetery.
Used to see her walking Mon - Fri some years ago.
She walks somewhere different now but every once in a while she'll
come to back to town to walk.
We had a nice chat.🙂

☁️    🐄    😀

Got chili started in the slow cooker first thing this morning and that
took care a supper.

Started on the weekly house chores this morning.

In the afternoon I did some reading, sewed a couple more rows on
the baby blanket, (2 more rows to do and the blanket will be finished)
and knitted.

This week series will be my measuring spoons.
These are stainless steel and the ones I use most often.

Well that's all I have for today.
Thanks for stopping by.

I like Curly. 😊. Chili goes along well with today's rainy weather.

I have a set like this. And here is my favorite thing about them. They are thin enough to fit in a spice bottle. The round ones will not fit. Curly is adorable!! Do you ever pet him?

Curly is a cutie.
How nice to see Kathy and catching up with one another.
I like how you have your measuring spoons hanging at the ready. Is that under a cabinet? I am often scrambling around in a drawer for mine in the midst of food preparation.

Hi Karen! Charly made dinner tonight and just told me that we do not have a decent set of measuring spoons, so I need to be on the lookout for a good set. I love how you have yours all hung up and organized. I hope you have a wonderful week! See you tomorrow!

Perfect name for Curly. I'm so impressed with the cleanliness around these cows. That is a handy way to keep those measuring spoons. Happy Tuesday, as usual I'm here the day after. :)

The cow you call Curly is a colour I've never seen in a cow....sort of gray.
I have those exact measuring spoons and use them a lot.
