Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Train pictures

Inside steps for me again.
VERY WINDY and cold and icy sidewalks in town.

I put chicken in the slow cooker and poured Italian Zesty salad dressing over it.
Having chicken burritos for supper.

We had the train open house again today.
In spite of the snowy, windy weather we had 17 people come by.
People sure seemed to enjoy themselves, kids and adults alike.

Here's a couple of pictures.
This scene of the tent revival meeting is a new addition.

Here's a wider shot and you can also see a car show going on
in the background.

Over on the right is the firehouse.

Liz came over the house and we had a nice visit while knitting.
Liz has just learned to knit and I was showing her how to cast off.

The Fiesta pieces today and fruit bowls.
Hard to tell by the picture but they are two different sizes.
5 1/2" and 4 3/4"
Only one I don't have is the larger ivory.

Happy Saturday and thanks for stopping by.

Ginny - Yesterdays nappy bowls are much too large for cereal, unless you want to eat a half box of cereal. 🙂 They are a good size for serving mashed potatoes or vegetables at a dinner.

It looks like real scenery and houses in your photos! I never would have known it is a artificial village. It is wonderful! Is this in your house, or maybe your church? So many things that are not usually thought of. Gale force winds here today, too! Nearly blew us over!

I'm so glad that you had a good turnout for the open house today. Our power went out yesterday at 4:30 afternoon and didn't come back on until 12:30 this afternoon. The wind has been unbelievable!

That railroad village is awesome. It was only 13 outside today, however we still had a good turnout of customers. I would have stayed home If I could have. Your fiesta bowls a so pretty. Janice
