Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Sunday

 Happy Sunday
Morning sky earlier this week.

This Morning

๐ŸŽถIn Times Like These๐ŸŽถ

Ruth Kaye Jones

1. In times like these you need a Savior,
In times like these you need an anchor;
Be very sure, be very sure Your anchor holds and grips the Solid rock!
This Rock is Jesus, Yes, He’s the One;
This Rock is Jesus, The only One!
Be very sure, be very sure
Your anchor holds and grips the Solid rock!

2. In times like these you need the Bible,
In times like these O be not idle;
Be very sure, be very sure
Your anchor holds and grips the Solid rock!
This Rock is Jesus, Yes, He’s the One;
This Rock is Jesus, The only One!
Be very sure, be very sure
Your anchor holds and grips the Solid rock!

3. In times like these I have a Savior,
In times like these I have an anchor
I’m very sure, I'm very sure my anchor holds and grips the Solid rock!
This Rock is Jesus, Yes, He’s the One;
This Rock is Jesus, The only One!
I’m very sure, I'm very sure
My anchor holds and grips the Solid rock!

๐Ÿ“– Hebrews 6:19 ๐Ÿ“–

We have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast.

A Blessed Sunday to all.

I haven't heard that song for a long time. It's a good one, those words are fresh and meaningful upon reading them.

Two different skies, but always nice to see.

All the best Jan

Hi Karen. I didn't get to read any blog posts yesterday, but I am back tonight. So glad you had a nice weekend. Progress is being made on the modular home. I can't believe you have been doing those little books for ten years now. Wow, time sure goes quickly. I hope you have a good week.

What a fitting song for times like these :)

Beautiful pictures!

We finally got rain last night and the temp dropped! Now if all the mosquitos have died overnight, it will be a great day :) !!

Such beautiful pictures of the sky! The hymn you have chosen was one of the favorite hymns of a pastor we had in Romney.

Yes, it is hard to believe that it was in October of 2015 since we met that first time in person. Wow! We need to do that again sometime.
