As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord,
so walk ye in him:
Rooted and built up in him,
and stablished in the faith,
as ye have been taught,
abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit,
after the tradition of men,
after the rudiments of the world,
and not after Christ.

Latane and Deb - The two books in the series I got from the library to read are westerns by William W. Johnstone. Taylor Callahan, Circuit Rider and Save it for Sunday. Though I don't usually read westerns I read one by Johnstone and liked it so thought I'd give these two a try. He has written a LOT of books so I'll have lots of books to read!!!
The book I'm reading right now is A Castaway in Cornwall by Julie Klassen. I'm about half way done and think it is very good.

Amen to that! These are interesting times.
Thanks for the book recommendations. I will have to look for William Johnstone. I don't usually read Westerns either. The last verse of today's scripture sure reminds me of this crazy world we live in. There is sure a lot of "vain deceit after the traditions of men" and certainly "not after Christ."
