Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Potato Heart

No walking in the rain this morning, just cloudy.
It was 52 degrees.
Sunrise 5:49
Morning Walking Steps 13,736

Walked around the cemetery on the hill first.

The little horses are getting used to me and now most times
come over to see me.

Walking back from the big barn and back to the cemetery
which is up on the left side and walked around it again.

From there I walked over to the post office and dropped
a card down the mail slot.

Then walked down the main road toward home
turned around and made my way over to the ball park
and walked around it a couple of times.
Up and down the side streets to complete my walk.

Saw a man running who I've seen once before.
John was out walking Prim up at the cemetery.

Pretty plants in pots in front of Kermit's house.

Driving home and going down my street there was a rabbit
running right down the middle of the street.
I followed it going slowly before it darted off to
the left in the weeds.
They move pretty fast!!

☁️     🥾    🐇    😊

Lunch was a baked potato and a salad.
The potato looked like a lopsided heart.

Sun finally came out in the afternoon so waited till then
to get a load of laundry hung out on the line.

Started another Anne Perry book, the newest one in
the Daniel Pitt series.
This series picked up where the Thomas Pitt and Charlotte series ended.
Daniel is their son and he's a lawyer.

Thanks for stopping by
Happy Saturday

...I love your two landscape images. And here I thought that I had a bunch of planters, Hermit has me beat. Keep smiling.

I love how Kermit lined the sides of his steps with pretty plants! And your first photo is so lovely.

Kermit has lovely pots of colourful flowers. One pot seems to be blocking access to the stairs though.

Beautiful landscapes even with the fog and overcast skies. Love all the potted flowers Kermit has.

Pretty flowers in pots! I usually plant all my annuals in pots, too. Less weeding to worry about! I like your happy faces at the end of your posts!

Cloudy is definitely better for a walk. That's sweet that the little horses are remembering you!
