Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Two Potholders

The thermometer read 21 degrees this morning for walking.
Some wind and it was said the wind chill made it feel like 8 degrees
but it sure did NOT feel that cold.
There was a mix of sun and clouds.
Sunrise 6:55
Walking Steps 12,705

Walked around both cemeteries and the ball park first and then
all over town up and down all the streets.

Lisa was out walking and this time her husband Dwayne
was out walking with her.

Don't usually see mallard ducks on the town pond but
today there were three of them there with the geese.

Not much happening around town on the early Saturday morning
but sure good to be outside walking.

☁️    🌤    🥾    😀

This morning we went to the Dollar General but couldn't get
all what we needed because all the refrigerated cases were broken.
Tomorrow on the way home from church we will stop at another one.
There are two more between here and church.

Bought two more potholders for my collection and hung them up.
The one in the middle I already had.

Finished reading the fantasy book, Nettle & Bone by T. Kingfisher
and must say I really liked it and gave it 4 stars.
Guess I'll have to read more fantasy books!!

It ended up being a cloudy day and the only sun I saw
was when walking.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Saturday

It was a pretty day for walking, although it sounds very cold! The sky shot is gorgeous. Glad you enjoyed the book.

I think your potholder display is so cool! What a fun and economical way to decorate your kitchen! Great pictures in this post. Looks like you had a pretty day. I am not much of a fantasy reader at all, but my husband really likes it, so I will tell him about this one you liked. Have a good Sunday. See you again soon!

I like the potholders and how you display them

Just realized you meant pot holders and not potholes which are like a rash on our roads here and cause havoc. We tend to call those potholders casters here or trivets

Pretty landscape and sunlight, love the sky photo too.
The ducks have a found a new spot at the pond.
Your potholders are cute. Take care, have a great day and a happy new week.

I would like to see at least one good snow here. We got down below freezing for a day or two in December. Our temps this month feel like spring. It was 80 degrees Friday! It’s weird. February and March are usually our coldest months. We have had a lot of rain though.

I love the pot holder display. What a great Idea!!!!

Pretty potholders! That is an easy thing to collect because they don't require a display case or anything but wall space!
