Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Mini Rowe Pottery

Still icy in town so skipped my outside walk again and
walked laps in the basement.
I remind my self that at least I can get my steps in that way
and there will be many days when I can walk outside!!

I have a small collection of Mini Rowe Pottery that I
thought you might like to see.
I bought the pieces one at a time from a little shop in Waldorf, Maryland
when we lived there in the late 80's early 90's.

The pieces are just a couple to 3 inches tall and I just love them
because they are so cute.
When I bought them they were just a few dollars but some of them
are worth a lot more now.

The box of things to be shredded was getting full so I spent some
time this afternoon shredding.
I like doing it.

Nice to see some sunshine today and a little melting going on.
Supposed to get pretty cold overnight but will probably
be able to walk outside.
Will have to wait and see how cold it gets.

Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Thursday

They are adorable, and I bet worth quite a bit of money. It is to be a cold snap here as well. Supposed to be 10 degrees tomorrow night. I lived in Maryland for about 7 years, near Hyattesville. Technically Landover.

I've never heard of these, but they are so cute!
We had sunshine, but very cold too, and supposed to get even colder.

What a cute little pottery collection.
Hope the ice melts for you soon so you can get back out.
Our temps here in NC have been between 40 and 60 but tomorrow suppose to get down into the teens.
The weather is so funny here. We never know how to dress.

Those are very sweet. I especially like the butter crock. Nobody will be out walking here for the next couple of days. The temps are going to tank to well below zero. The mere thought makes me shiver.

Your pottery collection is so pretty! Hard to imagine them being so tiny. I love pottery and have a few pieces, mostly picked up at thrift stores. Hope you get to walk outside again soon. Oh, I really like your new denium skirt.

So glad you shared your collection as it is, indeed, cute! The little butter crock is especially charming.
Hope you are back to walking outside real soon.

Those are super cute! I have a small collection of miniature things (besides my ornaments) that I collected long ago with the intention of making a miniature house one day.

I couldn't agree more re: the quote about the benefits of a walk. It doesn't even have to be a 5 mile one.

I love that last quote! We don't get in that many miles but we hiked for 2 hours yesterday and I was what I call...good tired! Not stressed, just physically tired. Enjoy your evening! Hugs!
