Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Another nice walk

49 degrees again this morning but no sunshine, just clouds.
Thankfully the wind died down and it was calm.
Sunrise 7:07
Walking Steps 12775

Walked through town, behind our old house in town,
and then over to the industrial park and walked around there.

A pretty pink sunrise in the industrial park.

Continued walking up and down on the road between the IP and the main road.
Then around the ball park.
The last place I walked was the cemetery on the hill.

A reflection on the town pond.

Stopped to talk to Bill, the town worker over at the town hall.
Saw a new man walking his dog.
Stopped to talk to Lisa again.
Rebecca was out walking too.

☁️    😊    🥾

Once I got home the rain came and it most of the day.

Just enough time to get changed, eat breakfast, and make the bed,
and it was time to go to church for a morning of making baby blankets.
There were 9 of us there this time.
Dorothy gave the devotional and Charlotte brought breakfast.
I didn't eat anything because I ate at home.

Before coming home stopped in at the nursing home to say hi to Bettye.
Hopefully she will be able to go home next week.
She REALLY WANTS TO GET BACK HOME!!!

Read this afternoon and made a few more squares.

Thanks for visiting.
Hope your Thursday was a good one.

It's good Bette is almost ready to leave. She's made very good progress. I wish my friend could go home, but they won't release her unless she has someone living with her.

The photo of your lake is beautiful - so clear.

What a beautiful cloud, as it wrapped itself around the hill.

I can appreciate Bettye wanting to get back home and hopefully next week she will be able to.

Such a pretty reflection!
We are having a big storm here, everything was coated with ice when I got out of work.
Praying that Bettye gets to go home soon!

Hi Karen. So glad you got a walk in before the rain came. Sounds like you had a very nice time with the Blankets for Baby group today. So glad that Bettye will be able to come home soon. See you tomorrow.

That reflection in the water is so pretty.
I can imagine Bettye is ready to go home. I'm sure she'll be much more comfortable once she's there.

That's a nice reflection photo. You had a nice turnout for the baby blankets. I can understand Bettye's desire to be in her own space...
