Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A potato chip

31 degrees this morning for walking and calm.
Once the sun came up it was sunny for a little while, then turned cloudy.
Sunrise 6:52
Walking Steps 13,047

Walked the left side of town first which was the cemeteries
and the ball park.
Back to the Jeep and picked up a book and then over to
the library to drop it down the slot.

Then walked around the right side of town and back down
the main road.  Still had a 1/2 mile to go so walked
around the lower cemetery one more time.

Saw Lisa walking three different times but all far away and
she didn't see me.

Walking down the road I heard someone call Hi Karen
from a car.
It was a friend Jackie from church passing by on her way to work.

🌤    🥾    ☁️    😊

This is for you Anni.
Last night I had potato chips for my snack instead of ice cream.
When I spotted this heart shaped chip
I thought of you.

Got quite a bit of house cleaning done this morning.

Took a chance and hung the sheets out on the line but it started
raining so had to take them in and put them on the rack to dry
the rest of the way.

After lunch we went to get some diesel for the tractor and
went to the dump while we were out.

When we got back the sheets were dry so put them back on the bed.
Then I spent some time knitting on a small white blanket I
started a while back.

Then a little reading before it was time for supper.
Reading the book club selection - Surviving Savanah - liking it so far.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Monday

...when I walked on the beaches of Maui, I always looked for pieces of stone in heart shapes. There were many.

That heart potato chip is making me hungry. Potato chips are a weakness for me. ;-) Glad you got your walk in before it started to rain. I love the little white blanket you are knitting. Have a good evening! See you again tomorrow!

Anni has us all trained to think of her when we see hearts. That's a good one!
Your white blanket is so pretty!

I'm indifferent to chips, actually.

It's kind of amazing how often a heart shape shows up if you keep your eyes open.

I wonder if Lisa says that she saw Happyone three times, but Happyone didn't see her. That is a beautiful white blanket...very feminine and sweet.

I love potato chips. The plain and salted are very hard to find here, the onion and cheese are the best sellers.

Are those ducks or geese? Whichever, I really like the picture. A heart shaped potato chip, how wonderful was that? :)

I love to see your "ganzen"(goose?). They are so beautiful.

I don't think I've ever come upon a heart-shaped potato chip :)

I love potato chips but don't have them around that much, because I don't know when to stop.

Nice photos of the geese.

Unusual to see a heart shaped potato chip.
