Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Wednesday

40 degrees this morning and cloudy with a little breeze.
Walked 5.7 miles
Sunrise 7:11

Pretty dark when I set out now on my walk.
Cuts down on the opportunity to take pictures.

Walked through town and behind our old house.
Continued on to the road behind the Dollar General
and then around the industrial park.

Back to town and around the ball park.

Only saw Lisa out walking this morning.

Driving to town I had to stop two times to let a few deer cross the road.

Pretty quiet around town this morning.

Seemed like a good morning for some nice hot oatmeal for breakfast.
I added a some brown sugar to it - mmmm.

Still loving my new V8 Dyson stick vacuum.
I vacuum more often now and take it out for quick little cleanups.
So convenient.
I've given my canister Dyson to David and Liz.
They work as a team cleaning houses and needed a new one
so the timing worked out perfectly.

We had to run up to Casslemans Market to get a couple of things.
Picked up a couple large red mums there too.
On the way home we stopped at the drive thru MacDonalds
and got lunch.  We ate in the parking lot people watching.

Read later in the afternoon and got some knitting done too.

Thanks for popping in for a visit.
Happy Wednesday๐Ÿ˜€

Bill - No, the water in the header is the Savage River Reservoir.  The lake we park by sometimes is Deep Creek Lake.

...the fog in the first picture is nice, we haven't had morning fog yet.

We are having the cool mornings, too. We have had the heat on two or three morns...too cool to sit on the porch now. Though I am tempted to take a blanket and sit out there a few times.

Sounds like my weather today. Very pleasant. If autumn lasted a few months longer... ☺️๐Ÿ☀️๐Ÿ☺️

It's been quite dark when I leave for work too, and then the sun shines in my eyes as it comes up! :)
I feel the same about my dyson stick vac. Great purchase!

More lovely pictures today. We enjoy our Dyson Stick vacuum too. That is nice that David and Liz could use your old one. See you again tomorrow!

I love those early morning pictures when the lights are still shining. There are no lights on my hill at that time of day, so you'll not catch me out until the sun is up.

Oatmeal sounds good. I haven't had it in ages. I also haven't been to McDonalds in a really long time. It's the only fast food place here in the small town I live in.

I'm finally getting my Pacific Time zone legs again. My brain is waking up. The Dollar General in the next town has the parking lot paved so I think it won't be too long before we'll be able to check it out. That's nice that it worked for you to give your kids your old vacuum!

I love oatmeal in the morning! I usually make overnight oats and add a tsp of chia seeds for protein. Sounds like the deer were pretty active this morning!

It looks like you had the same weather as we did this morning. I wish we'd see some deer on our way. Didn't even see a bunny this A.M.
