Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A sunny day

Another great morning for walking.
Temperature was 56 degrees with sun and clouds.
Walked 5.5 miles
Sunrise 7:04

Walked up and down the streets in town and
around both cemeteries.

Went down to see the bulls.
One resting and three eating.

A house on the main road is getting a new roof.
Today they were taking the old shingles off.

Thought the mushrooms looked kind of neat in almost a complete circle.

I saw Lisa walking and stopped to talk to Lena when she was
by the church dropping some things off.

Work continues on the barn roof.
This is a poor picture but I zoomed in and cropped it.
Yesterday I thought they were sheathing it with plywood.
On a closer look today, they put up purlins and rolling some material out.
I guessing then it will get a metal roof?
The roof line has one side higher than the other - for air?
Will be able to get a closer look on Sunday
when there will be no workers and will walk up to it.
I like watching the progress each day.

The only animals I saw out today were the bulls.
No deer or rabbits about this morning.

🌤     🥾    🍁    🙂

A sunny day but cool.
Got some more clothes washed and hung out to dry.
More housework got done this morning.

Afternoon was a nice time to walk around outside a little.
Did some reading and making a few weave-it squares too.

Posting a little earlier than usual today because we have
to get to church a little early and will be leaving right after supper.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit.
Happy Wednesday😁

Sounds like another nice day.
That is a lot of mushrooms and so interesting how they made that circular shape.

The mushrooms are neat in that almost circle.
That is quite a barn. I bet the roof is like that for ventilation as you thought.
Sounds like another good day!

It is interesting to watch a building project. A lot gets done from day to day.

Hello,
Love the pretty colorful leaves and the hydrangea blooms. The almost circle of mushroom is neat. Take care, have a happy day!

How interesting the way those mushrooms are growing.
Those hydrangeas are beautiful. Mine are past their prime and not looking so good any more.
