A short 1.5 mile walk around home

Another day of not walking in town (#7) but I did have a nice
little walk mid morning around about here.
Only went 1.5 miles but it is a start and my ankle still felt fine afterwards.

Went across the street to see the cows.
Number 17 stopped eating to get her picture taken.

Our house peeking through the trees.

Walked out back a little too and spotted mamma and baby deer
in the woods.  The little one is not so little anymore.

There have been a lot of Fritillary Butterflies hanging about
the cone flowers.  I was finally able to get a pretty good picture of one.

🥾    🙂

After walking around I sat on the porch for a while till it was lunch
time and I had peanut butter breads for lunch.

This afternoon I started the third scarf.

Made Baked Spaghetti Pie for supper.

That's it for today.
Happy Wednesday 🙂
Thanks for popping in.

Hi Karen. I am so glad that your foot was well enough for a short walk. Gorgeous photos on today's post. I have made your spaghetti pie recipe and it is delicious. Continue to heal. See you again tomorrow!

I'm happy for you to get a walk in - you're getting there!
I like the way that cow posed! The butterfly is pretty. I've never seen that type.
Spaghetti pie is always good!

I lived on a diary farm when I was 10. No numbers for us. They all had names. I recall Syble, Bossie, Brownie. About 30 or 40–all with names. Milking cows is work not fun.
Glad you are on the mend.

You'll soon be back to walking in town...maybe not the full 6 miles at first though.
You sure got a great picture of the beautiful butterfly. I've never seen a Fritillary butterfly; seems we don't get many butterflies except for the cabbage white.

You have great views in every direction. I love the pathway through the rocks. 1.5 miles is a pretty good walk on any day.

Nice way to break that ankle into walking again slowly! Congrats. That is a pretty butterfly. Glad it sat still long enough for the great photos. Love the view of your place through the woods!
