55 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds this morning
when I went walking.
Walked around both cemeteries and then headed up the
hill to the school.
The barn is where the bulls are, seen from the other side.
Once I got back to town I walked around the ball park
and then back to the Jeep.
The yellow flowers are buttercups.
The twin houses.
Work continues on the inside.
I'd pick the top one.
I like the red door.
Only walked 5.2 miles because I ran out of time.
Left for the church at 8:20.
Stopped to get gas and dropped off our garbage at the dump
on the way.
We finished up with Fingerprints with 5 of us working.
We were home by lunch time.
The garage was starting to get a bit messy so we swept
it out and straightened things up.
Had a rain shower, a nice gentle one which gave the plants
a nice watering. Then the sun came out again.
Made pizza dough in the bread machine and had
pizza for supper.
While we were at church doing Fingerprints our Pastor told
us about a baby bear that he rescued.
Pastor was out fishing in his boat when he saw a tiny baby
bear clinging to a log in the water crying.
He looked around and didn't see any sign of mama bear
so he went up to the baby got it off the log and into his boat.
He called wild life rescue and they came and got the baby.
They had found another baby and told him that a mama bear
had abandoned her cubs.
Pastor and the Bear
It's been a good day.

I'm glad your pastor was able to rescue the bear cub. There's a TV program called Wild Bear Rescue. It's about bear cubs, usually orphaned, that need to be taken in. This place is here in B.C.
I prefer the house with the red door too.
Not many people can say they rescued a bear, nor even say they knew someone who did.
..that farm is in a beautiful setting.
Poor little cubs. Your pastor is a nice man.
I like the red door, too. Better than the white one.
How good that they came for the baby bear. It sure is cute! And I love the buttercups and that red barn. Enjoy your evening!
Another pretty walk.
I like the red door too.
That bear is cute. Glad your pastor rescued him!
Your pastor saves souls of all kinds! He seems like a good guy. Glad you had a good day. I would choose the house with the red door as well. See you again tomorrow!
The barn has been kept up so beautifully. I have never seen so many Buttercups in one place! I'm glad your pastor was safe during his rescue.
I agree - the red door one.
God bless.
LOVE the story of the rescued bear!!!
Love that view in your first picture.
The pastor has a fish story to beat all fish stories :) Who else can claim to have caught a baby bear while out fishing.
Your Pastor is a very good man to have rescued the Cub Bear. We have a small Bear here called a 'Koala' in Australia- the Bears live up in Gum Trees. Stay well and safe there Karen and Kieth. Cheers. KEV.
Hello,
The baby bear is so cute, it was very nice of your pastor to rescue the bear.
I hope it can survive without it's mama. We are seeing fields of buttercups.
Take care, have a happy new week!
I loke the house with the red door, too! I think the other one should be painted navy blue! Good for your pastor!
What a lovely walk and the little bear is so cute, even if they are really scary when they are older :)
Love from Titti
Sweet! Glad your pastor could rescue that cub! It's sad to hear of any mother abandoning her cubs or kids...
Have a wonderful Sunday!
Sounds like you had a good walk. Pretty buttercups. Ahhhhhh, the little bear. Glad your pastor was able to help. Keep up the good work with walkingI haven't walked walked in a few days, but have been getting reasonable steps doing yard work and mowing.
Poor baby bear. God bless him. I wonder what happened to the mother.
Wow! Wonder why the mother abandoned her cubs? Seems she must be sick in some way. It's so against nature...
Lucky little cubs!

Hopefully the little cub can get the help he needs through wildlife rehab.
Baby bear rescue! What interesting things occur in your area.
That Lamentations passage is wonderful and a great way to start the week with such assurances of God's care for his children. Thank you.
