Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

New Internet Service

What a joy to have another sunny day.
50 degrees this morning when I walked.
More sun, no wind, and a beautiful bright blue sky.

Walked around both cemeteries, the ball park, and around town.

Walked up a driveway to take a picture of the Phlox growing
down over the rocks.
So pretty.

The Drane house in the early morning sun.

Roger was out walking Andy around the cemetery early.
I was just getting out of the Jeep when he got in his truck to leave.

Didn't see anyone else out walking.

Someone in town is getting a new roof right down to the plywood.
They sure picked a good week to get that done.

A few rabbits about as usual and all the regular birds
and a Bobolink.

I could get used to mornings like this every day.
Walked 6 miles

☀️    😊    ☀️

Haven't gotten much housework done this week.
Just too nice outside to be doing housework.
Outside this morning again in the front.
Ken had made a water feature out front and has never been
happy with it, so it is taking it apart and making another one.
It's a real mess out there now.

While he played around with that I planted the flat of pansies
in different pots around the front yard.
Will still wait a bit with the petunias.

We changed internet providers and today Andrew
came around and got us all hooked up.
Very nice man and was very helpful.
We now use Nuebeam - upload and download times
are twice as fast as the old provider.
AND it truly is unlimited at FULL speed.
The old one SAID unlimited but after you used up a certain
amount they would cut the speed way down to be all but useless.

I put chicken breasts in the slow cooker and by afternoon
it was falling apart.  I shredded it and we had
Chicken Quesadillas for supper.

It's been fun watching the humming birds come and go at the feeder on the porch.
They are not at all afraid of us.
Have seen two.
One is kind of bland looking so figure that is a female.
The male has a bright ruby red neck.

Well, that's all I have for today.
Thanks for visiting.
A happy Thursday to you. 🤗

Hi Karen. We had to change internet providers a while back too. I hope yours works well for you. I need to put my hummingbird feeders out. It will probably be warm enough this weekend. See you again tomorrow.

I walked in cloudy but not cold weather. I'm sure looking forward to sunshine.
I love the way that Phlox hangs down and looks lovely.

With spring bursting out all over the place, why would one want to stay inside? One of my friends said she had a sensory overload; guess that explains how I have been feeling lately.

I love chicken quesadillas. The phlox growing over the stone wall looks so pretty.

I love that Phlox and how they used the rocks. And the way the light hits the Drane house is wonderful. Another nice here, too.

You are getting the best of that weather. I don't blame you for not doing housework when things are nice outside. Hooray for your new internet service. I sure wish we had a choice. Maybe in the future.

It looks like a beautiful morning. I always used to love to be outside but these days I tend to spend more time inside.

It's good the change in Internet provider was smooth running. There are so many different packages and deals over here: Internet only, Internet plus phone, Internet plus phone and TV channels. Also plus cell-phone. Or with one service but not the other. Different speeds and download limits and phone call charges.

It's impossible to compare which company gives you the best deal.

God bless.

Hooray for the new internet provider!

Such a lovely morning. This time of year, must be pure joy, for your walk...

We haven't gotten any flowers yet. It's getting time. :-)

Gentle hugs...

Our nextdoor neighbor at our old house had Phlox growing all across the front of the house! It looked so beautiful! I wish the blooms would stay all year! Hope your new internet service works out good. It's frustrating when it's so slow. I love watching the hummingbirds at our feeder. I give them names even thought I don't know if we see the same ones all the time!

I haven’t seen a hummer all week. I put out fresh food. They were coming regularly and then when it got hot, they stopped. It’s been 90 every day here since Sunday. 94 yesterday.

That early morning sunlight just gives everything such a rich glow. I am happy to hear you have a good internet provider. We got a new provider about two years ago and love the exceptional service and speed.
