Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Oh no, even more

With it being 15 degrees this morning and very windy
and with ice and snow on the sidewalks in town
I decided to walk inside.

Walked 6 miles
First time 2 1/2
Second time 2
Third time 1 1/2

More snow today.
From the basement door as I walked by.

A scene from Ken's Train Layout.
A campground.
A bit blurry - sorry.

Got a good bit of housework done.
No hanging the sheets outside.
Inside on the drying rack for them today.

Dusted and straightened out the top shelves in our bedroom closet.
Now if we could only keep them that way.
My side of the office got cleaned and straightened up too.
Ken's side is a different story - but I don't touch his stuff. πŸ™‚

Knitted this afternoon, read, and looked out of the window a lot.
One minute it looked like it was going to clear up and the next
moment it looked like a blizzard.
By suppertime it had stopped and I'm pretty sure that is the end of it.

That's all for today.
Thanks for visiting.
A happy Monday to you. 😊

That shot out the basement window looks so cold and wintry!

I hope this is your last snowy day for quite a while. I had to smile when you said you don't clean up Ken's side of the office - that sounds like Charly and I. I leave him to straighten his own stuff. That's what almost 43 years of marriage has taught me. ;-) Hope you have some good sunny days to come. See you again tomorrow.

Snow... Etc.

Our cold temps and wind don't seem so bad, compared to what you are getting. -sigh-

I do hope it doesn't come calling here!!!!!!!

It doesn't look much like Spring out your way. Hopefully soon....
Sounds like you got lots of inside work done today. Wishing you a sunny day tomorrow.

I like that campground!
We had snow over the weekend and have more predicted this week. I hope Spring comes soon!

You are so incredible, walking in all kinds of weather.

The camping scene is perfect for all of us who are ready for warmer weather. With our windy weather the sheets dry in no time at all. It is so hard to keep everything in its place.

More of that white stuff?!! When will it end?

At least there's no snow on the train layout set.

God bless.

Hello,

Winter is not over yet, we had some flurries yesterday.
The camping sight is cute on ken's train layout.
Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.

Sure hope that that is the last of it! It's very cold here, but no precipitation. I am grateful. The basement just dried up. πŸ™‚

Good woman to leave your husband's things alone. I tried to learn that lesson. πŸ₯΄

Winter is very reluctant to say goodbye.
Take heart...spring will come, and every day gets us closer to warmer weather...*smile*.

Winter blues are playing once again. You need to play the spring/summer blues. :)

Oops. Didn't expect this. Glad you have options for walking. The camping layout is nice. I'm catching up today while we are getting our windows cleaned inside and out by a father and son team.
