Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Thursday

Temperature above freezing and it has been raining
making a real winter mess of the snow so walked inside today.
Supposed to turn cold again during the night.

Yesterday after picking up the scriptures we just came home
with the trailer.  Today we took the trailer back to church
and unloaded it.

Had a few errands to run on the way home.
Picked up some stuff I needed at CVS.
Stopped at the Shop and Save for milk, eggs, and bread.
Dropped off and picked up books and DVD from the library.
Mailed off a birthday card at the post office.

Came home and had lunch.
Got a few things done around the house.
Started cleaning out my craft closet.
I never seem to be able to keep it neat and tidy.
Ordered a boat load of yarn from Herrschner's
and look forward to getting that.  Want to put in away in a nice
neat craft closet when it arrives which gave me the incentive to clean it up.

Didn't take any pictures today so here's another
one from a while ago of Ken's Trains.

😊 Happy that you stopped by for a visit.
Enjoy this day. 🙂
👩🏻‍🦳 happyone ❤️

My craft closet seems to have a hard time staying organized too.
Sounds like you had a productive day!

Glad you had the option to just come home and deliver the trailer and load the next day. Sounds like a good busy day!

I always enjoy scenes from along the track. Today's is different and I really like it. WE had our winter storm, and thankfully it wasn't as bad as we feared.

Hi Karen. It's always a good feeling to get a closet cleaned out. All that new yarn will keep you busy with more baby blankets! Glad you had a good Thursday, even though it was cold and snowy. See you again tomorrow. :-)

We had a rainy Thursday too, but the temps stayed on the warm side.

Ken's creativity is endless. Nice shot of the vehicles driving on the bridge.

You have a wonderful talent for covering so much territory with so few words. I so wish I knew how to do that, as I just seem to go on and on.
And, being a lover of trains, living close to a famous train landmark, The Loop, and always have trains to accompany my trips to our town, of course, I just love all that your Ken has accomplished in your basement. It's just amazing! Please let him know.

Wondering what weather you have this morning... Or Fri. afternoon now, as I write?

We have a snow storm. :-) But still glad we don't have to drive in it.

It always feels so good to check things off your "to do list".
I love seeing photos of Ken's train set up. If Steve were here he would be inspired . . . that is always something he talked about doing one day.
