Looked outside when I got up and it was dark, foggy, and raining.
Decided to wait until it was light before walking.
While waiting for it to get light I walked 2 miles down
in the basement around Ken's train layout.
Then had breakfast and did a couple morning chores around the house.
By that time it was just foggy with a slight mist
so that's when I drove to town and walked the other 4 miles.
40 degrees.
No one else about.
It was even quieter around town mid morning with no
school buses and people going to work.
Walked around the cemeteries, ball park, and a quick trip
around town.
Path behind the ball park.

Finished my chores when I got back home and then it was lunch time.
Ken went outside to work on the bridge even though
things were still wet. He still has a bit more to do
with some rocks and fill.
He needs some dry weather though.
I stayed in the house this afternoon.
Baked another batch of Pumpkin Bread and now I have 8
loaves sitting in the freezer.
Don't think I'll buy that HUGE can of pumpkin again!
Will for sure be giving some loaves away.
Finished out the afternoon reading, knitting,
and started a jigsaw puzzle.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy Wednesday to you. 🙂

That photo of all those leaves is a haven of color!! Wow. Golly you haven't walked around in the basement for a while.
I'll take one of your loaves of bread (jk).
You sure have been busy baking Pumpkin bread. I'm sure the recipients of any loaves will appreciate them. I still have a cup and a half of pumpkin waiting in the fridge. I have an idea of what I'll bake.
...the leaves look nice on the grass at the cemetery.
Pretty fall colours.
I am glad to see that there are still lots of colorful leaves on the trees. How lovely it would be to walk that beautiful path.
The leaves are so beautiful! And it will be nice to have that in the freezer this winter! Sounds good right now!
I like the looks of that trail behind the ball park...it looks so inviting. We may get a hard freeze tonight they say...I hope not yet. But it is that time of year.
Some thankful people will enjoy that pumpkin bread for sure. Glad you find away around different weather to get your walks done. I'm not missing our maple trees and all the raking of leaves that they require! Happy last week of October to you!
I love anything pumpkin. Those pumpkin loaves you're going to give away will be accepted happily I'm sure.
Hello,
The recent wind has made a lot of the leaves fall. Your pumpkin bread sounds great. I have a can of pumpkin, I will make some bread soon. Take care, enjoy your day!
Beautiful carpet of leaves. Great photo. Thanx.
God bless.
My Wednesday involved a big windstorm to include howling and trees bent double. Pretty freakish. I just wanted to return to bed, but I resisted the urge. Today will be much better. Your path through the woods is a pretty one with reds and golds. What size was that pumpkin can? 😁
Hi Karen. Wow, you have a lot of pumpkin bread. So nice of you to plan to share it with others. Hope you have a good Thursday.
The leaves are beautiful laying on the ground.
Hi Happyone, I don't think I'll ever get tired of looking at the beautiful photos you take while out on your walks. Thanks for being an inspiration for me. Have happy days ahead! John
Your world is really gorgeous! And I wouldn't mind walking around Ken's train set up either.
YOu did your walking in a wise way. No need to keep getting wet.
