Got starting walking a little later this morning.
Fell back to sleep and didn't get up till 6:40 but was in town
walking by 7:00.
It was 59 degrees, cloudy and quite breezy.
Looked like rain but it stayed dry.
Sunrise 7:04
π Walked 6 miles π
Another nice walk all around town.
Looks like work is about to begin in the field.
Maybe harvesting the corn though they usually wait till it
is all dried out.
A pasture in the process of being mowed.
Now the little ponies will be easier to spot. π
John, Rebecca, and Joy were all out walking around town too.
Garden Shed Number 20
Looks like a mini barn

Food shopping day at the Shop and Save this morning.
Like to get that over with first thing!
Got more house chores done before lunch.
A few pictures of our deer and baby.
Yesterday a cattle trailer came and took away some of the
cows and bulls from the farm next door.
Today we hear the mothers crying for their little ones.
Such a sad sound.
We worked some more with the rocks on the other side of the driveway.
Read a little this afternoon and knitted too.
Still working on the white blanket.
Had some rain late in the day.
Thanks for stopping by.
Smile and be happy. π

Two things prevent us from happiness;
living in the past and observing others.

...we were out today to pick grapes and farmer are chopping corn for silage here too. The deer love your yard!
The deer are quite at home.
That's sad about the cows. That would bother me.
The sun shone briefly this morn, then the clouds moved in and it looked like rain all day, but all I was ever aware of were a few sprinkles. It is 63° here now...has been on the cool side.
Hi Karen - I love the pictures of the deer. I also like that red barn shed. That is the kind I would like in my yard. I love your ending quote again today. you have had some great quotes on your posts this week. See you again tomorrow.
Garden shed #29 is cute; so are those deer. They look quite at ease in your yard.
We slept later this morning, too! Love that shed! The deer seem quite at home there.
It was raining here this morning (yay!) so I slept a little later too. It is definitely time to be harvesting the crops. Your “baby” is growing up.
So sad about the cow's crying for their babies. Even the animals love their babies and it seems unfair they are separated :-(
Lovely deer.
God bless.
I would be very much ill at ease hearing the mama cows' cries!! But the mini barn brightened my morning.
The deer feel real comfortable at your place.
Hello,
I love seeing the deer in your yard, they seem to love that bridge area.
Have a great day!
Lovely post, Karen. That quote at the end is such a good one. So true. Sounds like another good day. Take care!
I like the colors of that little shed...
Awww, poor mom cows.
We seem to be in a rain... showers... cloudy period too. Oh well, can't be perfect, every day. -smile-

I just think it is so special to have the deer make themselves at home on your yard.
Yes, that shed does look like a mini barn.
The deer look quite at home in your yard :)
All the best Jan
