Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Pumpkin on a fence

60 degrees this morning with a touch of fog around.
A mix of sun and clouds.

There was just enough of a breeze to hear the rustling of the corn.

A most delightful walk around town this morning.

With the old red truck gone now there is an old
red tractor in that spot for sale.

Went down to see the bulls.  Still just the two of them there.

The only person I saw today walking was Margaret.
Pretty quiet for a Monday.

Pancake breakfast today.

Ken went outside this morning and did some more rock
gathering for the other side of the driveway.
I stayed inside getting started on the weekly housework.

After lunch I did some rock work with Ken.

A little sitting time on the porch
and then inside to read before supper.
Monday just zipped by.

Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you found the happiness in your day. 😀

...neat stuff today Karen. The sickle bar behind the tractor looks like what the Amish use to cut hay.

It's been a long time since I've had pancakes. That first shot speaks to me.

Love the tractor! And the image of the pumpkin is perfect for the first week of Fall.

That pumpkin looks like it grew right there!

Great photos... Especially those lovely Autumn wild flowers.

Wonder where that man gets his old equipment to sell....

Good Monday evening to you. Glad you had a delightful walk today. That shed does look new. We are all packed up and ready to leave on our road trip early tomorrow. Time will tell how much blog time I'll have. I do hope to post postcards at least. Excited for Fall arriving this week. Take care.

That is such a great quote at the end of your post. I am wondering if Ken wants to buy the old red tractor too. Pancakes for breakfast sure sound good! Glad you had a nice Monday. See you again tomorrow!

Your days always sound so nice. Puttery sorts of days. Love that. The colors are certainly getting fallish up your way. Take care.
