Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Shed 16

60 degrees this morning and cloudy skies.
No breeze at all today.
Sunrise 7:00
👟 Walked 6 miles 👟

Had my usual morning walk all around town.
Seems I have a young fan.
Walking past a house a mom and her daughter were getting
in the car to leave.  The little girl about 7, says hi to me with a big smile.
I smile back and say good morning.
The mom says, when her daughter sees me walking past the house
she says,
I love this lady, she walks past our house every morning.
It made me smile - that's the second little girl who has said
something like that.
Perhaps they are young walkers in the making. 🙂

Others walking about town today were
Rebecca
Joy
John

Sorry no walking pictures today.
Nothing caught my eye.

Garden Shed Number 16
This one is at the cemetery on top of the hill.

Blankets for Baby day at church and left right after breakfast
for a morning of blanket making.
10 of us there today.
The devotional was a bit different this time.
We all picked out one of our favorite hymns, said a little something
about why we liked it and then sang the first verse and chorus
of each song. (We all sang the songs together)
It was really nice!!

Didn't feel like doing any work around the house after
being out all morning so just puttered about the house
doing a bit of this and that.

Thanks for stopping by.
A happy day to you. 😀

MsBB - Sorry you couldn't get to the house link - looks all fine from my end.  The house/store has always been one building.  Store on one side and residence on the other.  Very convenient for the owners!

That sounds like a nice devotional at your Blankets for Baby meeting. I always enjoy singing favorite hymns. Perhaps you will share what your favorite hymn is. Hope you have a good evening. See you tomorrow. :-)

That's a sturdy looking shed.

When we have to get out and go do something, I never feel like doing anything. Also, have trouble doing something before, because if I don't set a timer, I can easily lose track of time and forget it. I did not used to be that way.

How sweet that you have a couple of little fans! They probably watch for you every day.

...I walked in the woods today, didn't walk as far as you did, but pictures of EVERYTHING!

Shed # 16 is very sturdy looking but rather plain. I wonder if it contains anything to do with the cemetery seeing as it's right there.

You say:"The mom says, when her daughter sees me walking past the house
she says,
I love this lady, she walks past our house every morning."

Makes me smile too!!

How precious, that those little girls, love to see you and say Hi! Yes, hopefully, walkers in the making.

Now I know, this building was always thus, even if I can't make my old computer bring up the old picture. Thank you.

Yes, very convenient for all the owners! A real home, and not just up over the store, like so many have lived. -smile-
