Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Crisp Fall Morning

45 degrees and clear this morning when I walked.
Nice to see the sun come out.
It was a sunny, cool, crisp, fall day - perfect walking weather.
Saw Joy out walking and we were surprised not to
see others out as well.

Morning Moon

Walked all over town.
Quiet - nothing going on this morning
but what a glorious start to the day.

There were a whole bunch of mushrooms here in the grass.

Walking around town trying to come up with another series
of pictures.  Probably will do all the different street names in town.
Will start on Monday.

👟 Walked 6 miles 👟

☀️    🍁    ☀️
Did the usual morning house chores and then made some
Honey Raisin Bran Muffins this morning.
Just taking them out of the oven when David and Liz stopped by.
They each had one and I gave them some to with them.
Now I won't be tempted to eat too many.

Got quite a lot of weave-it squares made this afternoon.
I was using a dark color yarn and it so much easier to see
during the day.  I'll make some light colors later when watching TV.

It was a bit too cool to sit out on the front porch
so sat out on the deck.  There, it is out of the wind and in the sun.

That's it for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy day to you. 🙂

We had another cool start this morning as well, but we are due a warm up soon. I walked the longer route today, and felt like walking on and on. Your honey bran raisin muffins sound delicious!

Sounds like a good day. I love seeing mushrooms. For some reason they are always of interest to me.

The grass starred with the mushrooms makes quite a lovely picture.
Your different series gave me the idea of featuring my teacups. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi Karen. Sounds like a lovely fall morning. I like the pictures of the mushrooms. Those muffins sound good. I may make some bran muffins this weekend. I will leave the raisins out because I don't like raisins. Hope you have a good weekend.

Hi Karen- Rain here too and cold- unusual days for what is meant to be Spring- it was snowing here last week to the south and north of us and it was very cold indeed. Have a great week there. Regards. KEV.

It's cool now. Perhaps you will not see as many people out. Which is sad.

Oh that morning moon with the changed leaves, would make a lovely Header. -smile-

Great bunch of mushrooms...

Don't fret about a series. -smile- One will pop out at you, without even you having tried.

Honey Raisin Bran Muffins, your home must have smell divine. Looking forward to walking the streets of your sweet town with you, sounds like a fun series :)
Thursday I was out in the front yard and there were groups of black mushrooms or toadstools, I won't know the difference. After Beulah swallowed that needle these things scared me . . . pulled them all up. I'm going to start treating her more like a toddler until she reaches an age of not putting everything in her mouth. Does that age ever come with dogs? I can't remember if Butchy out grew it, or if he just never did it.

yes, a fascinating connection between trees and mushrooms. Plants can send nutrients and electrical impulses to each other via mushrooms. Google has an explanation that is interesting.

Maybe your baby blanket will reflect the season with fall colors. Can't wait to see what you have created. Another great day in your neighborhood.
