Started walking at 6:35 this morning.
It was 45 degrees and mostly clear.
Once the sun rose there was a mix of sun and clouds.
Sunrise 7:08
π Walked 6 miles π
Found a penny

Saw John at the start of my walk and Rebecca near the end.
Another nice crisp morning walk around town.
Walked around the industrial park.
Went around one of the cemeteries and the ball park loop.
Picture taken from the industrial park road.
I came up with another idea while walking for the next series
instead of the street sign idea.

We had a couple of those Honey Raisin Bran Muffins for breakfast.
We liked them even more today when they weren't warm.
We took our trash to the dump.
Had a little extra besides the household trash because Ken
has been clearing out of the garage and wood shop.
On the way home we stopped at the lumber yard and the Dollar General.
Then back home for the rest of the day.

I started reading The Amazing Adventures of 4¢ Ned.
Came across this review and it explains it so much better than I could.
"The Amazing Adventures of 4¢ Ned (Coinworld: Book One) by Benjamin Laskin is a humorous tale, something quite unique and extraordinary. I can honestly say that I have never in my long reading life come across another book quite like it. Mr. Laskin has the knack of bringing inanimate objects to life, of giving them their own personalities and making you believe that, yes, coins do have a life of their own! This is one of those stories that you just can't help but be drawn into; it's fun, it's an escape from reality and it's a tale of self-fulfillment of finding out what your true purpose in life is. Trust me when I say that you will look at the coins in your pocket in a completely different light after reading this!"

Did some document shredding this afternoon.
All was going fine and then all of a sudden the shredder quit working.
Ken played around with it trying to get it to work but
couldn't fix it. Will have to buy a new one.
We had fish and chips for supper.
It had been a while so it was extra good.
That's all I have for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy Saturday to you. π

...my wife does a lot of shedding and has found that her shredder needs to be lubricated often.
Wondering if you are liking the book...it sounds different.
My shredder just has to cool down after a while if I have a lot to shred. But sounds like yours never would start again.
Gorgeous skies.
I got the book after reading the review. It looks like a fun read. And you had another lovely and productive day.
Shame about your shredder, hope you can get it replaced without too much trouble.
All the best Jan
The book sounds interesting. Another penny! Fish and Chips...I think I need some next time I'm out.
That book does sound interesting and very different.
Your honey bran muffins make me want to bake some on the next rainy day.
Found a penny at last. I was beginning to despair.
God bless.
Hello,
Pretty sky, sounds like a nice day. It is good to get things done. The fish and chips sound yummy. My hubby is the shredder in our house. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week!
Good luck with the shedder. I had one that got jammed and never worked again. :(
Just opening up my laptop this Sunday morning and I find that I've been sleeping under the beidge all night. π First thought this morning—that photo of the farm would make a beautiful puzzle,
Pretty new Header!!! -grin-

That book sounds like fun! And we certainly need to concentrate on fun, for sure! To lift our spirits.
Ohhh, the shredder quit. Well, I'm sure it gave good service.
Steps and stairs for a new picture series. See, I said, a new idea would come to you. -giggles-

Just *have* to ask... What is "sleeping under the BEIDGE"? Please and thank you.

I love brisk morning walks!
I'll be looking forward to your next Photo Series.
Your current book sounds real nice. I checked with our Library, but they do not carry any of his books. Bummer.
