Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Coloring

60 degrees and another rainy walk.
Too windy for the umbrella.
Wore my rain pants and slicker today but it was really too warm
for that so left the slicker unzipped so I was half dry and half wet.

Walked around town and didn't see anyone else around.
Pretty wet out there with puddles and water running down the
sidewalks and streets.  Cars and trucks swishing past spraying
water over the sidewalks.

After 4.2 miles I was ready to put an end to my walk
and head home where it was nice and dry. 😀

Garden Shed Number 3

🌼    🌼
Rained all day.
Got some house cleaning done.
Then just puttered about the house.
Read a little.
Got out my colored pencils and crayons and colored a bright picture
to brighten up a rainy day.

That's all I've got for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy day to you. 🙂

I haven't used my coloring books in such a long time!! A very colorful image you created while it rained.

I love that you walk every day - rain or shine. I love the picture you colored. Very bright and cheery. :-)

Just in case you are getting too much rain, just send it my way.

...I am envious of your rain. With cooler temps today I attacked the weeds in my garden and the ground is as dry as a bone. The garden shed is a tiny house!

Hope you are enjoying the rain but not getting too much! Love your bright cheery picture you colored!

I have an oilskin trenchcoat for rainy days, but can't recall when I last used it.

Coloring seems like a good exercise for the day you had. Is it part of Ida that is making it's way up to you? That is another very nice shed.

Rainy bdays are most welcome here, just as long as we don't get too many in a row! Coloring is very calming. My granddaughter and I color together often.

It doesn't sound like great weather for walking today but hopefully tomorrow you'll have better luck.

We have had a few rainy days in a row, Storm Ida just went through and dumped a lot of rain. Take care, enjoy your day!

Garden Sheds do come in all shapes and sizes- no two alike it would seem.

In South Central pA we received 5 inches of rain from Hurricane Ida. Some other near areas got 7 inches, much flooding as well. Glad you cut your walk short, I'm not much for walking in the rain. Like the coloring and the sheds. Looks like another great day.
