Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Snappy Dressers

62 degrees this morning when walking.
It rained during the night but had stopped by walking time.
Looked and felt like rain but was just cloudy.

Walked the cemeteries, the ball park, and all around town.

Looks like the kids at the day care center were doing some tie-dying.
Purple seems to be a popular color.
Their clothes line needs to be a bit higher!!

Very quiet around town, almost like a Sunday morning at first.
Things picked up a bit during the second part of my walk.
Saw a couple of dog walkers
and Jim and Lena were walking their dog Molly around the ball park.
Molly is my favorite dog that I come across.  She is a yellow lab
and very friendly.  Why is it the friendly dogs I encountered are always
on a leash and the mean ones roaming about on their own.

Here's today door.
Only a couple more left from around town.

Walked 6 miles

☁️    🙂    🌺

David and Liz came over last evening for game night.
We played a new card game for us called
Snappy Dressers.
Any one play it before?

There's a deck of 51 cards and every card matches in one way or another
with every other card in the deck.
There are 10 different games you can play including a solitaire game.
We played two different games.
It was a lot of fun.

Finished up the last of the house cleaning for this week
and then worked on a hat I'm knitting for Ken.

I borrowed a book from the library on my Kindle.
Sometimes it is very easy and things go as they are supposed to like today
but other times it just doesn't work.
For me its a hit or miss thing.

We made homemade pizza for supper which is always a treat.

That's it for today.
Hope you made your day a good one.
Thanks for stopping by.

No I have not heard of snappy dressers...but, I love card games. Home made pizza sounds perfect as does an overnight rain.

It will take ages for those trees to grow and get the clothes line higher.

God bless.

Hello,

I like the purple tye-dye, so colorful and pretty. I am sure the kiddies had fun! I have never heard of that card game. I use my kindle and often borrow ebooks from the overdrive library. I have never had any problems downloading the books. Pizza is one of my favorites, yum! Have a happy weekend!

Hi Karen- Pizza is a favorite- especially home made. Cold here now in Winter- I have to have my heater turned on when in my shed making models. Stay well there in Western Maryland. Regards. KEV.

I have never heard of that card game before. It sounds interesting That daycare needs one of those sticks that lift the clothesline up after clothes are hung on it.

Haven't heard of that game. Discipline is important for people and animals. :)
Fun that you've documented so many doors in your community! Happy Saturday to you.

Cute tie-dye project, at the day care place.

Never heard of such a game. -smile-

How do you deal with nasty, roaming dogs????

Glad I got a leash law in place here, years ago.
