Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Beautiful sunny day and the deer

When I walked this morning it was 64 degrees.  On the way to town I drove through some fog but it was soon gone and there was a mix of sun and clouds.

Walked around both cemeteries, the ball park, and all around town.

Once in a great while the heron makes a stop at the town pond and I was lucky enough to see him there today.

Saw Lena and her husband Jim walking around the ball park.
A woman I see once in a while was running around town but
never got close to her to say hi.

Walked 6 miles

⛅️    🚶‍♀️    😀

Here it is Monday again and time to start the weekly house cleaning.
So got some of that done in the morning.

Fun to watch Dolly and her fawn Fiona
wander around out back.
We see them most days.

It was a nice sunny day.
Temperature reached 80 with a nice cool breeze.

Puttered about outside this afternoon.
David and Liz stopped by and we made plans for Saturday evening.

Knitted and read late afternoon till suppertime.

Thanks for stopping by.
A happy day to you. 🙂

...the deer in your yard are amazing, I thought that we had deer here. You are in deer central.

Awww, love seeing the deer! I saw a young bunny bravely come out in the middle of our back yard to eat grass during the early evening a couple of times recently. Saw a hummingbird flitting about our living room window yesterday. And a mama and older baby deer that live around here made an appearance outside our fence the other day. I love those little splashes of nature we get to see sometimes...so special, like that white rabbit you saw. Take care!
