Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

It's snowing again

When I drove to town for my walk it was 37 degrees and cloudy.
Walking around town I spotted a red glove along the sidewalk.
So walked down the main road to where the posts are and
on the next post in line added the red glove.
And then there were 3.

Across the street was this pretty blooming azalea.

Walked back through town to the industrial park and walked around there.

This is the same house I took a picture of a few weeks ago that
looked like the start of a deck being built.
Nothing had been going on for a while but today I noticed the
decking floor has been added. With those tall posts maybe it is going to
have a roof on it.

Walked some more around town and on the streets behind our old
house in town and that is when I saw the first snowflakes!!
Snowflakes were better than rain though because I didn't get wet.

As the snow came down harder it turned windy too.

And this is what the snow was like by the time I got in the car
and was leaving the parking lot for home.
Temperature was also down to 31 degrees.

Wasn't paying much attention to how far I was walking
and ended up walking 6.7 miles.

☁️    πŸ™‚     πŸŒ¨

It snowed on and off all day but just left a dusting in the woods.

A good day to do some work on the puzzle and read.
Didn't do much of anything else.

Last week I bought an air fryer on line and it arrived today.
I've been wanting to buy one for a while now after reading
how much a blogger friend Lisa and others like theirs.
It comes with a cookbook with some good sounding recipes that
I'm looking forward to trying.

Hope spring returns soon!!
Thanks for stopping by.
A smile from me πŸ˜ƒto you.

Deb - About the chicken in the slow cooker.  The only thing I did was put chicken beasts in the slow cooker and pour some Zesty Italian dressing over them and cooked it till it fell apart.  You could put in any kind of dressing you want in it.

Anni - Your suggestion sound delicious to go with the chicken.  What I did was shred it and put it on top of Caesar Salad.  The rest went into the freezer for next week to make Chicken Enchiladas

You are finding a lot of gloves. I'm not much of a cook, but I enjoy new things, and that chicken with dressing sounds interesting.

What a year for crazy weather. The azalea is beautiful. Hope it's also hardy after being snowed upon. You're going to like your air fryer. What style is it? What did you try first? Well goodness, I am chatty this evening. The red glove looks very cheery.

...the one thing that you can count on in spring is that the weather can change on a dime! We had quite a snowstorm this morning and there's bit still. I love that azalea.

What strange weather!!
I really like that purple Azalea.
I thought about getting an air fryer but then I saw how much work it is to clean it each time you use it. No dishwasher here so it would mean extra scrubbing. I look forward to your evaluation of it once you've had it for a while.

We had snow in the night through to around two in the afternoon. The frost is out of the ground, so it isn't staying.

I love the waving red glove, that one really stands out. That Azalea is really gorgeous. I had them when I lived in north Florida, but they don't do well where I am now, I miss them. Snow again?! I sure hope it warms up and spring returns again soon. Have fun with your new air fryer. :)

We had snow starting yesterday around 4:00 and it showed for hours, most of it melting. there was only maybe half an inch or so on the ground this morn, but I had left our vehicle out last night and it had at least an inch.

Lucky you getting snow. People in your area sure lose a lot of gloves. That red one really stands out. LOL

What was your glove score last year?

God bless.

Hello,

I love the blooming azaleas, they are beautiful. I heard about the snow at Deep Creek, we had cold temperatures, a little rain and wind. The air fryer sounds nice, I might have to look into getting one too. Take care, enjoy your day!

We got about a inch of snow here yesterday, too. Everyone was commenting on how pretty it looked on the trees! It was pretty but I'm pretty much over it now! This is the most snow I remember ever getting in April!

You certainly don't expect to see pretty blooming azalea and snow in the same day, do you :)

I keep telling myself that the snow brings moisture, but really I would rather it came in the form of rain. Enjoy that Air Fryer. I love mine.

Somehow that azalea and the snow don't seem to go together. We dipped down into the 30s last night which is very unusual here at this time of year.
I'll be curious to see what you do with your air fryer. They do seem to be popular now.

Sorry you've had snow again.
Enjoy your air fryer.
