Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Bulls and Cows

Cold temperatures stayed around and this morning it was
25 degrees when I went walking.  It was cloudy and WINDY
and a few lingering snow flurries flying about.
Dressed in all my winter layers of clothing and stayed warm.

Walked around the cemeteries, ball park and town.
Made a stop at the post office to mail another Bible lesson that I finished.

This short path is behind the ball park and there is a small stream
that runs along side it.

Farmer Marvin spread a bunch of hay around for the bulls.
Must be a lot better lying in hay than mud!
My #55 preferred to have breakfast instead.

Not to leave the cows out by the cemetery
here's a couple pictures of them too.

Some people must really like to fish because there were 3 fishermen
fishing at the town pond.
At least I kept warm by walking but they had to just stand there!

Thought the phlox in the cemetery with a bit of snow on it looked pretty.

Walked 6 miles

☁️    🙂    🚶‍♀️    🌸

I think about what I want for breakfast when I'm out walking
and today chocolate chip pancakes sounded like just the thing.
So that's what I made for us.

Since I didn't do any work yesterday I got busy and finished
up my housework for this week.
I have some chores that need to be done every day.
Also have housework that gets done weekly.
I have a list and cross the chores off as I do them day by day
and by the end of the week and it is all done.

Though I've only used my new Air Fryer once I'm already glad I bought it.
Just made frozen French fries in it but they came out nice and
crispy in 15 minutes and was so easy.
Just put the fries in and turn it on.
Also super easy to clean.
Have to buy some potatoes and make our own French fries.

Started making more weave-it squares for May's baby blanket.
Read and knitted a little too.

Thanks for stopping by.
A smile from me to you. 😃

Count on livestock to show interest in people walking nearby.

36 degrees and no snow in south central pa today but windy. Another happy air fryer customer. I am on the fence about that and an insta pot. Happy Monday:)

You have a barrel style Air Fryer like me. I love French Fries in them. Abby purchased a combination toaster ~ air fryer this week and has enjoyed experimenting. I didn't even know that there was such a thing. I hope this is the last week of unusually cold weather. I liked it better when it was warmer. ☀️

It was a cold day to walk but it looks so pretty. I love the photos of the cattle... they look very interested in watching you too! Have a great weekend.

Interesting that you find your air fryer easy to clean. The video I watched on-line seemed to make it quite a production. I made a mental note of the brand you bought in case I do decide to go ahead.

...I;ve heard of air fryers, but they aren't something that we have tried.

I think those phlox with a dusting of snow are so very pretty. We had +19C today and it's supposed to drop to near zero overnight and chances of snow tomorrow . Yes, it's a normal spring.

OK, so now I just must have an air fryer. Crispy fries in 15 minutes convinced me. I am a list maker too, but no matter how hard I try, I always have something to carry over to the next week. Maybe, I am just making the list too long.

Those French Fries look delicious! I will have to think about getting an air fryer too! You are a good sales person. ;-) I am curious about the Bible lessons you are taking. Maybe you already explained it, and I missed that post. Hope you have a good Friday!

We use our air fryer a lot. Saves on heating up the kitchen with the oven. AND easy to clean. Love the cows & pretty path photo along with the flowers & dusting of snow.

We were thinking about getting an air fryer. I wondered about the cleaning process. Presumably it is coated with the non-stick paint.

God bless.

25 degrees and snow, spring has definitely gone into hiding! I really need to go ahead and get an air fryer. I've wanted one for years and even bought one for each of my kids one Christmas, but still haven't gotten around to getting one for us. I hope it warms up a bit there soon!

Hooray for the bulls. Farmer put down hay for them, not making them lie in mud!!! And yours is still there! -smile-

I tried your idea of a Salad Dressing with chicken thighs in Crock Pot, and it was yummmmy. I used a jar of Sweet Vidalia Onion Salad Dressing. And it make a gravy. -smile- Thank you for the idea.

Housework!!

Please will you tell me, your general plan for your housework? Not necessarily here. My email addy is on my Profile Page.

We live in the downstairs, of our 2 story family home now. Only 5 rooms, which are perfect for us. Only 5 rooms! It seems I should be able to design a plan! But I am still trying.

So I would love to know your plan!

And I love the way you write a list and check things off!!!!! Yessss!

Please and thank you.

The cows must have a routine now when they see you walk by. OK, time to line up and look good for our weekly photo. :) We don't have an air fryer but know people who do and they love it. Enjoy your day.

I hope you continue to like your air fryer...one crosses my mind sometimes more often that others. Glad the bulls got some hay to lay in.

I like fishing, but you won't every find me ice fishing or fishing in very cold weather. LOL
