Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A Sunbeam

When I was out walking this morning I saw the sun rays shining through the trees
and it brought to mind a little chorus we used to sing in
Sunday School when I was a little girl.

πŸŽΆ  Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam  πŸŽΆ

1. Jesus wants me for a sunbeam,
To shine for him each day;
In ev'ry way try to please him,
At home, at school, at play.

Chorus
A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.
A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
I'll be a sunbeam for him.

2. Jesus wants me to be loving
And kind to all I see,
Showing how pleasant and happy
His little one can be.

Words by Nellie Talbot
Music by Edwin O. Excell, 1851 - 1921

A Blessed Sunday to all.
Thanks for stopping by.

I remember singing that song in Sunday School when I was very small - in fact I think our little class was called Sunbeams, when I was only 3! Good memories . Have a wonderful week.
