Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

3 flying geese

40 degrees this morning and calm.
Saw some blue sky and sun for just a short while early this
morning and then cloudy for the rest of my walk.

Three geese flew overhead the short time the sun was out.
Took this picture looking just about straight up.

Walked all around town, both cemeteries and the ball park.
Nothing unusual today just a nice pleasant walk
and just happy to be out walking.

Walked 6 miles

☀️    ☁️    🚶‍♀️    🙂

Put a roast in the slow cooker with an onion, potatoes and carrots
first thing this morning and that took care of supper.

Worked finishing up the house cleaning for this week this morning.

Started knitting another dish/wash cloth.  Has a pattern to it which
is supposed to be little hearts.

Didn't go outside this afternoon because it stayed on the cool side
and was cloudy.
Did a little reading inside.

That's all I've got for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy day to you.

Why do they always fly in V formation? Do they not know all the alphabets?

God bless.

In this area, when we see 2 or 3 geese overhead... They are flying from the downtown pond, to the college pond, near here. Or back again. -smile-

Great minds!!!! Have a beef stew in Crock Pot now. Actually we started it yesterday, when we had steel head trout for dinner. In refrig over night. Back on today. -smile-
